This Will Fit Into God's Plan!!

Rom. 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Know that God's plan for your life involves everything (ALL) that happens to you. Your mistakes, your sins, past, present and future. All of your hurts and misunderstandings. Does that really mean "all things", Yes, it does.

Does that mean separation? Yes, Does that mean divorce? Yes, Does that mean rejection? Yes! Does that mean your spouse coming against you? Yes! Does that mean your spouse wanting out of the marriage? Yes! If you leave anything out then it is not "all things". The Word of God says "ALL THINGS". You must understand that.

Everything fits into God's plan. God can bring good out of evil. God can bring good out of the worst kind of evil and He did that on Calvary.

If you think you are just going through a series of hard luck situations, you need to get your thinking spiritualized and out of the world's way of thinking. It is a series of things working together for good, not for evil, not for money, not for reputation, not for position, not for personality, but working together for good. It does not say that all things in life are good.

I want you to take a look at the family tree of Jesus. Four women are listed in scripture for us to consider. They are Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and Bethsheba. Tamar seduced her father-in-law because she wanted to get pregnant. Rahab was a known prostitute. Ruth was not even Jewish and broke the law by marrying a Jewish man, and Bethsheba committed adultery with David, which led to the murder of her husband. You probably are saying, "It doesn't look to me like a dime's worth of good in any one of them." Not what you would call sterling reputations, but God brought good out of all those bad situation,` and Jesus came through that lineage.

Know today that God's purpose is far greater than this bad situation in your marriage. Repeat: God's purpose is far greater than your circumstances.

What God is doing is much more important in the universe than our problem or our pain or predicament. He can use it ALL for good, if you'll give it to Him and let Him.

It says all things in your life working together can produce good. It didn't say ALL THINGS in your life is good or would be good. Jesus said to us as believers, "Anyone who lives godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution." This is not good BUT will work for your good. Much of what is happening in marriages are really bad. It is relatively easy to bring good out of good. We can do that, but God specializes in bringing good out of that which is evil or bad. You only need to trust Him while you go through.

God allows the difficulty because He is more interested in your character than in your comfort. He wants to perfect you, not pamper you. Sometimes we don't quite understand that. His goal for your life is holiness, not happiness. Some people think it is just the opposite. They say, "God is obligated to make me happy." No, He is obligated to make you holy. That is the reason why, when you became a child of God, the Holy Spirit came to dwell in you, to make you more like Him. He always values the spiritual over the material, because what you become is going to last forever. Therefore if you love God, your situation will work together for your good.

Your Very Present Help Is God!!

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1, KJV).

God promised to be an ever-present help in times of trouble. One of the hardest things for most of us to do is to feel total dependency on another person. We strive to be independent, thinking that before we ask for help, we have to do everything in our power first. Of course, there are some who would take it to the extreme and simply refuse to ask for help.

God is our Refuge and Strength. The fact that God is our "Refuge" should provoke a response in our lives. The Psalmist suggests we should make a resolution: "Therefore we will not fear" (vs. 2). Our lives should reflect that God is our "Refuge and Strength." The test of our faith that God is our "refuge and strength" is the amount of fear that we have.

You need not fear this circumstances. You need not fear the future. Faith in God as a loving Father should drive this fear away. The Psalmist tells us we should not fear even the most trying circumstance: "Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging"

Jesus remind us in John 15:5 that "...without me ye can do nothing", and therefore regardless of the situations we find ourselves in, when our hearts are overwhelmed and nothing around us makes any sense, it is a comfort to know that we can depend on our Heavenly Father to be there to help and see us through. That is more than we can say about anybody else.

Be encouraged and know that God can move this mountain you are facing in your family. God can and will move it, if you will only trust Him...He can make a way when there is no way. All you have to do is ask for His help. In Jeremiah 33:3 God promised, "Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."

Know that God will bring you to a place where you HAVE to depend entirely upon Him. Then in grace, He lifts us up by the hand and teaches us that we can trust completely in Him. We learn that we can do nothing without Him and ALL THINGS with Him. He will do the impossible for you in His perfect timing. Trust Him.

As always, I pray and intercede on your behalf daily. For all those who are supporting me in this quest of marriages being healed, thanks very much for your support. Your prayers and support are appreciated.

[Relationship-Talk] He gave me a CZ engagement ring....

 

I'm trying to figure out how to deal with this situation....he proposed and gave me a beautiful ring, which I thought was a real diamond. He didn't mention that it wasn't real, and has taken the credit in front of all of our friends, family and co-workers leading them to believe that it was a real diamond. I took it to a jeweler to see if they could size it because it's slightly loose and they had informed me that it wasn't a real diamond. My emotions went haywire, I waited a couple weeks and finally asked him about it, this started a HUGE fight and the word "materialistic" was thrown at me. I really love him but now I question his honesty with me and feel as if maybe he thinks I didn't deserve an special ring, something that costs more than a $25 wal-mart ring, something that would take a little more thought and effort. Should I be mad? Should I question the foundation of our relationship? Should I question that he blew it off as no big deal? I'm very confused, I can't imagine being without him but if something that significant is brushed off so easily how can I trust him with my heart?

Nigerian Student Sentenced To Death By Hanging For Drug Trafficking In Malaysia

As reported by NewStraits Times, the Judicial Commissioner Mohd Zaki Abdul Wahab ruled that the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt against John Amaechi Eze.
In his judgment, Zaki said the accused claimed he was waiting to board an express bus at a restaurant in front of the Lye Huat Garden hall when he was arrested by police. However, he said the court did not believe his claim that he did not own the luggage when witnesses had testified that he was with the luggage all the time.

His sentencing has elicited a range of reactions and warnings to Nigerians against trafficking

Remain Steadfast!

"Whom (the devil) resist steadfast in the faith..." (1 Pet. 5:8).

We are to resist the devil by remaining steadfast (firm, persistent,
immovable, determined, committed, faithful) IN SPITE OF ALL THE
NEGATIVES WE MAY BE SEEING OR HEARING!

The enemy will NOT devour you as long as you are walking by faith. Therefore, it can be concluded that the enemy is aware when you are walking by faith and not by sight. Be advised that the devil knows. He listens first to your testimony.

I have received numerous emails from standers who would constantly
complain that their marriage WILL NEVER be restored; "my husband/wife is not coming back, the ow is pregnant by my husband; I think they are getting married, therefore my marriage is over; he is dating my
girlfriend; I am sure he is going to file for a divorce", and things
of that nature.

WE SHOULD REFRAIN FROM SAYING NEGATIVES THINGS ABOUT OUR SPOUSE OR
OUR MARRIAGE! In spite of what you may have been told when you were
a child, words CAN hurt. The devil listens to every word that comes
out of our mouth and can use these words against us. Therefore, we
need to speak life into our marriage. There is life and death in the
power of the tongue.

According to your testimony, you can speak life in your marriage as
well as death.

Remember, Revelation 12:11 says that we overcome the devil "by the
blood of the Lamb and by the word of..." your testimony. The devil
listens for the 'words' of your testimony and any opening that you
give him.

Your negative words or confession are contrary to the Word of God. He
hears it and (devil) POUNCES right on you. When he sees your
demonstration of faith with your confession of faith he can only TEMPT
you to walk by sight by suggestions of fear which will grow into
doubt. The only thing that stumps the growth of doubt is quenching
the fiery dart of fear by putting up your shield of faith.

Let's remain steadfast today in spite of the negative things we may
see or hear. Let's speak life into our marriage. The enemy is
listening to every word we speak.

As such, we need to remain steadfast, immovable, unshaken, persistent,
determined, firm, committed, and faithful to our task. Let us not be
unstable.

Our God has already seen our marriage healed and restored. We need
to hold fast and believe and have faith that our marriagess will be
healed and restored in spite of the many trials that are facing us.
I ask you again, is anything too hard for God?

My marriage is restored. Praise God. Thank You Pastor Doreen for your encouraging words daily. I have in the last year learned how to completely submit my heart, my marriage and my husband into the Lord's hand.

I have a closer relationship with my God. My husband came home this
week and I was so surprised. God has done a MIRACLE in our marriage.

I can't begin to explain. I am so thankful and I lift up praises every

The Audacity Of A Prost*t*te

“Urgent sex.” That was the traffic-stopping inscription on a number of white cardboard pasted recently at strategic locations along Alagbole, Ogun State.

The advertisement indeed caused a stir as it drew men to it, just as carcass would draw hungry vultures. Some gaped at it with hungry eyes;

others looked like they were repulsed as they shook their heads and threw insults on the audacious lady that could have put up such a lurid advertisement.

But that did not stop them from copying the phone numbers under the pretext of verifying its authenticity. Beyond that, a few also seemed to be protesting the rate of the advertiser’s service, which was etched at a corner of the cardboard as “N500 for one hour, N1,000 for 2 hours.”

“Nigeria don finish,” hissed a commercial motorcyclist as he stared at the advert for a moment before driving away. Although prostitution is not a new trade in Nigeria, the audacity with which whoever is behind the pasted advertisement had carried on with the oldest profession in the world is what has made this particular approach novel and audacious.
