George Clooney & Amal Alamuddin Step Out as Mr & Mrs in Venice, Italy

As we type this, hearts all over the world are still breaking.

Hollywood’s most elusive bachelor George Clooney not only proposed to lawyer Amal Alamuddin but tied the knot with her in a beautiful ceremony with superstar friends and family in Venice, Italy on Saturday 27th September 2014.

The groom wore a black tuxedo by good friend and luxury designer Giorgio Armani, who dresses Clooney for big events including the Oscars and the Met Gala.

It's official: George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are married! The groom looked a bit nervous in the pic above but he went through with it. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at the Aman Canal Grande luxury resort in Venice, Italy, today.

Clooney, 53, in Armani, and Alamuddin, 36, were married by close friend Walter Veltroni, the former mayor of Rome.
