Maid Stabs and Pours Boiling Water on Employer's Children Due To Maltreatment

A maid in Dubai has been jailed for life after attempting to kill the children of her employer whom she said maltreated her and seized her passport, refusing to let her leave. The 25-year old Ethiopian woman waited till her boss travelled, then she poured boiling water on the children, and stabbed them repeatedly. The children were asleep at the time of the attack, but woke up and escaped into the bathroom to save their lives.

According to reports, prosecutors said that the maid admitted the attack was an act of revenge for being mistreated and deprived of food. She said that she had planned the crime because her sponsor, L A, a 42-year-old teacher, often accused her of theft and refused to send her back home claiming that her passport was missing.

Army arrest 5 military commanders for abandoning Mubi to Boko Haram

Five or six military commanders have been arrested and detained by the army after they abandoned, withdrew from Mubi, Mararaba, Michika, Madagali, and Vimtim communities when Boko Haram men attacked the areas last week, allowing the insurgents to take over some areas.

Leading cement manufacturer, Dangote Cement Plc has announced drastic reduction of the prices of one of its major product - cement - across the country.

The new price announced by the Group MD/CEO of Dangote Cement, Mr. Devakumar Edwin, pegged the Dangote 32.5 cement grade at N1,000 per 50 kg bag, while the higher 42.5 grade would sell for N1,150 per bag.

A statement by the company at the end of a management meeting said, however, that the new prices were exclusive of the Value Added Tax, VAT, representing about 40 per cent discount on the prevailing market price of the product currently sold for N1,700 irrespective

When you are big, you do big things...hehe. 28yr old Serbian model and reality star Soraja Vucelic (pictured) claimed in a recent interview with a Serbian newspaper that 22 year old Real Madrid and Brazilian footballer Neymar da Silva Santos Junior, sent a private jet to pick her up to visit him in Barcelona after the pair met in Ibiza...and she shared a pic of herself in the jet in Neymar's jersey to prove she was not lying.

Soraja told Kurir newspaper that she met Neymar in Ibiza in July and they exchanged contact and frequently chatted via Skype. One day he told her he wanted to see her and sent a private plane to pick her and her friend up. Soraja was in Barcelona for many days with Neymar. A 23 year old Nigerian girl Joy Willaims died in Bangkok on Oct 23 during a buttock augmentation surgery. Joy flew to Bangkok on Oct 14, to visit the SP clinic for £2,000 buttock augmentation surgery. A few days later her wounds became infected and she returned to have corrective surgery to remove the silicon implants. She died in the operating table during the corrective surgery.
