Bloodbath Between Ogunu and Ugbuwangue Communities Over Deve As the clash between Ogunu and Ugbuwangue communities is been curtailed, there are some, who are planning a revenge attack as they had vow not to leave the opposite side “unmarked”. Residents in both communities will certainly go to bed with one eye opened as they fear a reprisal.

According to eye-witness, the issue arise as a result of boundary dispute and revenue collection “deve”(recently banned by the Delta State Government) from offices and stores under the bride.

I Am Because We Are - Johnson Abbaly

Forbes and other agencies that track private wealth all report that the richest business people, politicians and clergy in Africa come from Nigeria. Still, institutes like Brookings describe Nigeria as the extreme poverty capital of the world using data from the World Poverty Clock. Nearly 90million Nigerians live in extreme poverty.

Someone said once “public wealth enriches everyone, individual wealth impoverishes everybody”

When we allow a few to get fraudulently stupendously wealthy at the expense of everyone else , we hurt the collective future.

When we democratize wealth- giving everyone an opportunity to succeed and achieve their highest potential- we create a multiplier effect across the breath of our communities.

If the success of a fellow Nigerian makes you breathe uneasily, you are part of the problem

If you seethe with envy when you hear of the business breakthrough of a neighbour, you are part of the problem.

If you are quick to damn the courageous effort of someone else with faint praise because their success makes you feel diminished, then you are part of the problem.

You are better off when everyone succeeds around you, they create the right energy that spur growth on every side.

The era of the “African Big Man” syndrome must come to an end. The superstar businessman, the superstar pastor, the superstar politician, the only cock that crows are relics of an era that has passed.

A great leader doesn’t produce loyal followers, he produces great leaders too. If the success of your subordinate or protégé or junior pastor or your “son” threatens you- that right there is the working definition of witchcraft!.

We cannot all survive on the skills, expertise, resources or anointing of one man, we need a firmament of stars to light up the universe.

Nor can “we strengthen the weak by weakening the strong”. Each man can rise. Each one should.

Because you are , we are.

Wayne Rooney is in line to come out of England retirement for a one-off appearance against the United States in an international friendly at Wembley later this month, Britain’s Sun tabloid reported.

Rooney, a record goalscorer for both Manchester United and England, has not played international football for nearly two years.

But the 33-year-old, now based in the United States where he plays for Major League Soccer side DC United in Washington, is set to wear the Three Lions shirt once again for the Wembley fixture on November 15.

It has also been reported that the match will raise money for Rooney’s charitable foundation.

An official announcement by the Football Association, England’s governing body, confirming Rooney’s recall is expected in the next few days

Former Everton and United forward Rooney scored 53 goals for England prior to announcing his retirement from international football in August 2017.

He has scored 12 times for DC United since he joined them after the end of the last English season, following a second spell at boyhood club Everton, and helped them climb from the bottom of the league ladder to the playoffs.
