Have you been trying to fix your situation all by yourself? Whatever you are going through today, only God can do the impossible. Human power cannot heal and resstore, only God's power can.

Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit" (Zechariah 4:6).

These words of the prophet come to mind as you consider the current conflict you are experiencing in your home. God needs to be given full reign in your situation.

God is in control and not your Pastor, family or friends. We are not in control, but God is. Know today that human power cannot bring about healing and restoration.

This particular text from Zechariah was written during a period of
Israel's history where God used this minor prophet to teach His people
this very encouraging truth.

Therefore trust not in man to do this because God is able.

Isaiah 31:1 "Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!

You need to know and be assured that God is involved in your circumstances.

'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the Lord Almighty.
God meant these words for you and me as well. He wants us to know
that we should not worry about the "mountains" we face in life...that
the same mountain-moving power that was available to Zerubbabel
thousands of years ago is also available to us today.

What did God do for Zerubbabel? He leveled the mountains in his path.

God wants to remind us that His ways are different from ours. His thoughts are higher, and therefore we should not LEAN to our own understanding.

We should not use our human reasoning to figure God out. God wants us to know that we can get through any mountain but, "...not by might nor by power but by HIS SPIRIT."

You see, this is one way that God acts. He turns seeming defeat into
amazing victory...He makes the IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBLE. Remember that He created this world out of nothing. Is anything too hard for God?

My friends, this is the God who will heal and restore your family.
This same God who turned the Great Red Sea into a dry path so that the
people of Israel could walk across safely and then He let the waters
return to destroy the pursuing unconquerable Egyptian army.

Are you at this time facing an impossible situation in your family?
Are you facing a huge mountain and therefore frustration is causing you to consider giving up?

If your marriage or family has fallen apart, know that God, yes the
same God, who raised Jesus from the dead, WILL bring your dead
marriage back to life. God can take the BIG things in your life....and make them small. As He told Jeremiah, "I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for Me?"

[marriagerestoration] Standing In Agreement!! - May 3, 2012 - Doreen's Daily Delights

 

Standing in Agreement:

Good day to each of you. Today I each of you to know that I am standing with you and agreeing with you in prayer, in your situation.

There is power when we all agree in prayer.

"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything
you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For
where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them
(Matthew 18:19-20).

Jesus teaches us that there is power in agreeing in prayer. Therefore, I continue to stand with you, to encourage each of you and to agree with each of you. I will not grow weary, neither will I give up, I will persevere to the end.

I will be like that widow with the unjust judge. I will persevere.
Throughout the Bible we see people in trouble and when times get rough
they consistently wind up with fewer and fewer supporters around them.

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, `Grant me justice against my adversary.'

"For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, `Even though I don't fear God or care about men, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!'" And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"

There is no injustice in our Heavenly Father. You will receive the desires of your heart.

Matt. 7: ...Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good
gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Let us stand in ageement with each other.

[marriagerestoration] Giving It All To The Lord!! - May 2, 2012 - Doreen's Daily Delights

 

"Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

Good morning my friends. I want you to know that if you are waiting on the Lord to heal your family, I may not know you or your name, but God does, and am praying for you. He knows all about your situation and is willing to carry you.

You cannot carry this heavy burden. Give it all to the Lord. God is asking you to cast all your cares upon Him. He wants to help you and will never deceive you.

If you are going through a hard situation in your home, fret not yourself, give it all to the Lord. God is promising us in the verse above that if we will do our part by casting our cares upon Him, He will do His part by sustaining us.

Many times we're left struggling with burdens God never meant us to handle. The results are often anxiety, depression, despair, and even sickness and infirmity.

But maybe I can help convince you that God really does want to carry your burdens, and that it's worth the effort to surrender them to Him.

God wants you to give Him all your worries. Only God's shoulders are big enough to carry our daily concerns. Look at this promise in Psalm 68:19: "Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens." All these verses make it clear that God wants to bear ALL our cares ALL the time.

When we are able to take that step of faith and let go of all the anxiety that tries to plague us and weigh us down, we enable God to fulfill His promise of perfect peace and deliverance-no matter what we may be going through or facing.

It's important to remember just how much God loves and wants to care for us. He's just waiting for us to take the first step and ask for him to take the heavy load of circumstance we are holding on to so tightly.

What is weighing you down today? Have you purposed in your heart to cast it upon our Heavenly Father? Or are you holding on to it with all your human strength? Why not experience that perfect peace of His Spirit that transcends all human reasoning and understanding and cast all of your cares, every single one, on the Lord today. He who promised is faithful!

No matter where you are or what you are struggling with, God has settled your soul to have peace with Him. The peace of God is a promise for you today. Claim it, speak it and live in it. Throw off the distractions of negative words and actions of your wayward spouse.

Negative comments of family members or friends, guilt, and self-condemnation. Let the peace of Christ dwells in you richly. Nothing can interfere with the love Christ has for you and the peace that is yours by knowing Him.

Be quiet. Be still and watch God work on your behalf. Fix your eyes on Jesus by reading His word. Get a verse today that you can claim as a promise and live beyond the struggles. Cast your cares upon the Lord for He cares for you.

I want to thank those who have been assisting me in this quest for the healing of marriages. I am doing this fulltime and without your prayers and financial support, there is no way I would be able to encourage and minister to many. I thank God daily for your obedience and faithfulness. Endure To The End!

"Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial..." (James 1:12).

"O God, Thou art my God; I shall seek Thee earnestly; My soul thirsts
for Thee, my flesh yearns for Thee, In a dry and weary land where
there is no water. Thus I have beheld Thee in the sanctuary, To see
Thy power and Thy glory. Because Thy lovingkindness is better than
life, My lips will praise Thee. So I will bless Thee as long as I
live; I will lift up my hands in Thy name." (Psalm 63:1-41).

Our life in the world is faced with many challenges, challenges with
marriage, with family, with jobs, with financial hardship, and
countless others. Many of us are faced with so many trials. I
sometimes ask myself when these trials will end. It seems that no
one is exempt from the difficulties that arise from living in this
present evil age.

James is giving us a tremendous challenge with these words! "Blessed
is a man who perseveres under trial..."

You may currently be facing some very difficult and serious trials
right now. Some with marriage, health, and others with various kinds
of other trials: money, relationships, children. All of us need to
be the recipients of prayers and encouragement.

Even while you read this devotional you may now be passing through a
critical experience in your marriage; but I entreat you, be not hasty,
be not discouraged, but submit your case to God.

Wait upon the Lord and do His will, and in this hour of trial He will work for you, and you will obtain a precious experience. Lie low at the foot of the cross. Give God a chance to work, and He will teach you precious lessons.

"And you will be hated by all on account of My name, but the one who
endures to the end, he shall be saved." (Mark 13:13).

Don't give up! Keep on trusting in God no matter what the trial, no matter what the test. Don't give up! Put your faith in God. He will never leave you nor forsake you. What more can I say my friends, but to trust in God and not to give up.

I am praying for you. Thanks in advance for your support. This is all I do fulltime.

[marriagerestoration] Calling Things That Be Not!! Apr. 30, 2012 - Doreen's Daily Delights

 

Today I am writing to tell you that you must believe what you asked God for, even before it's manifested in the natural. This is faith and having faith pleases God, because without faith, it is impossible to please God.

Rom. 4:17 As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Today, by faith, this is what you need to say: "I call those things that be not as though they were. In the face of separation or divorce, I call my marriage healed and restored." "I am more than a conqueror." "I am blessed and not cursed." I will not be put to shame because greater is He who is in me than he that is in the world." If God be for me, who can be against me?" "No weapon formed against my marriage shall prosper." Praise God!

Faith calls those things that be not as though they were. I have learned that there is nothing quite so hard for many of us as calling those things that be not as though they were.

Many honest, sincere, good people think they would be lying if they did this, so they fail to do it. But I want you to consider for a moment that the Bible tells us that God cannot lie (Num. 23:19). And God calls those things that be not as though they were!

I've had people say to me, "That's all right for God to do that." Well, if it's all right for God to do it, it's all right for you to do it! The children of God should act like God (Eph. 5:1). And God calls those things that be not as though they were, because He is a faith God. We are faith children of a faith God. We should act like God.

Romans 4:17 says that God made Abraham a father of many nations. You see, Abraham had to call those things that be not as though they were. And God tells us to follow in the footsteps of Abraham (see Romans 4:12).

Because God calls those things that be not as though they were and because He tells us to do it, then it's impossible for it to be wrong in the least degree.

Speaking the Word brings God's power and authority to bear on a physical problem! Consider the fact that the centurion that Jesus marveled at (because of his faith) understood this principle.

Matthew 8:8 says, "The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed." Note, that he "was not worthy" because he understood that he had no covenant with God at that time, as he was not of Jewish heritage in the natural, but he understood that Jesus was walking in covenant, and in authority, with God.

He said, "Speak the word only... and my servant shall be healed!" Then notice what Jesus said about him in verse 10, "When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel." Not even the Israelites of that day, though they DID have a covenant with God, had the faith of this centurion! Why? The centurion understood the principle of speaking the Word of God in faith! He understood that there is authority in God's Word! Beyond that, God's Word has the power within itself, to cause the Word to come to pass!

"(Mark 11:22-24) "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

Is anything too hard for God? I want you my friend to know that you are not standing alone. I am standing with you, praying and interceding on your behalf daily. If you can support me in what I am doing, I would be most grateful and God will bless you because He is no man's debtor.

A Win Win Situation

Hi everyone, how are you doing today? Want you to know that I am praying for you and interceding on your behaalf daily. I am standing with you. I wont give up, neither should you. Thanks for your support.

If you are walking by sight, your circumstances may not be looking good today. Your spouse has turned into a total stranger. Your spouse may have openly choose another to be his/her partner. You are being dragged into Court against your will.

Or, your spouse may have separated themselves and divorced you against your will, or is thinking of doing so. While you are going through hell with your spouse, if that is not enough, some of your own family has turned against you. Your friends and your in-laws are also against you.

Although your situation may not be looking good in the natural. Know
that the Lord is at work in your situation. The Champion is at work.
The Winner is at work. The Almighty Omnipotent Everlasting God is in
control of your situation.

Yes, you may be surrounded by enemies on every side and it looks really really bad in the natural, but God is going to work it out for your good. With God, you are in a win, win situation.

They that are with you is more than they that are with them. The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble. He cares for you. You are the apple of His eyes. He has given you the greatest gift, Jesus.

Dear Lord, I pray today that You will teach us how to let you fight
our battles because the battle is the Lord's, and it is not by might, it is not by power, it is by My spirit saith the Lord.

And Father, we want nothing more than to be able to open our eyes and look up into the hills from whence cometh our help. Our help is in the Lord. Our hope is in You, Lord. Our strength, our trust, our confidence is in You. Help us, I pray Lord, to choose that less traveled road of spiritual vision. And help me, I pray, Father, to not be afraid but to cling to You now for strength and courage in this hour of my need for I pray it in Jesus' precious and holy name. Amen.
