5 Alternatives to "To Whom It May Concern"

If you're writing another cover letter and blindly reaching out to a recruiting department, "To Whom It May Concern" may feel a little tired. Well, that's because it is. Would you like to receive a universal letter that pretty much addresses no one? Probably not.

Here are several ways to spruce up the letter and show you're putting in more effort than your average job seeker. Whichever way you decide to spice it up, please don't be that guy or gal who makes the ultimate faux pas: "Dear Sirs." Yes, job seekers still do this, and yes, for equal opportunity workplaces it can be a major turnoff. Even "Dear Sirs or Madam" is a lot better but still seems very 1950s. Try these instead:

1. Dear [hiring manager's name]. With a little digging online, you can probably get a sense of who the position reports to. Considering many companies list their executives, you can drill down from there. Why not start from the top? If you're pursuing a job in human

Next year is the 20th anniversary of the World Conference on Women in Beijing, which set out an ambitious global agenda for gender equality. Sarah Baartman is a name that every black person should know.

Sarah Baartman is a name that every black person should know. You wont hear about her too much in the mainstream media. And with good reason. Mainly because Sarah’s body was exploited, much like black women today in rap videos. It is really sick to watch at times. It’s hard to see my sisters looked upon as a piece of meat. And I don’t even want to mention what they do with black women in the porn industry. To call it degrading what be a vast understatement. A little history about Sarah:Sarah Baartman was born to a Khoisan family in the vicinity of the Gamtoos River in what is now the Eastern Cape of South Africa. She was orphaned in a commando raid. Saartjie, pronounced “Sahr-kee”, is the diminutive form of her name; in Afrikaans the use of the diminutive form commonly indicates familiarity, endearment or contempt. Her birth name is unknown.

Korede Bello finally in London for 2nd phase of Mavin UK tour | Photos

The first leg of the Mavin Concert Tour at Manchester on
Tuesday, October 21, 2014 was a success despite the absence
of label mates, D’Prince and Korede Bello.
No reason has been put forward as to why D’Prince and
Korede Bello were absent in Manchester since the tour is
supposed to include all mates on the label but all efforts to
reach out to the Mavins’ camp for confirmation have
been unsuccessful so far.
Few hours ago, however, Korede posted some pictures on
his Instagram page, announcing his arrival at the Heathrow
International Airport.
‘# MavinConcertUK #BelloversUk #MEGA,’ is the way he
captioned one of the pictures.
But while this is good news for his fans, Bellovers as he calls
them, it remains to be seen if D’Prince will also arrive before
the London leg of the concert today, Thursday, October 23,
2014.

[marriagerestoration] Digest Today: We Need Not See, But Believe!!

We need not see to believe
Is there trouble in your marriage? Have you asked for healing and restoration? You need to believe that God can do the impossible in your situation.

You need not see any evidence to believe. You need to believe without seeing. This is faith.

Romans 4:18 "Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be."

The circumstances was impossible, but against all hope Abraham believed God and God did not disappoint. With God all things are possible.

Nothing is hard or difficult for the Lord. God is able to resurrect a dead marriage. He is able to make the blind see. The deaf to hear. The lame to walk. God is even able to bring life to
