April 27, 2013 – Most Wanted Boko Haram Leader Muhammed Chad Killed In Maiduguri During JTF’s Operation Restore Order

One of the most wanted leaders in Boko Haram camp, Mohammed Chad has died.

The notorious Boko Haram operative, Mohammed Chad, was yesterday evening killed in a gun battle with JTF. The fight occurred at Ruwan-Zafi area of Maiduguri metropolis when the officers of the JTF’s Operation Restore Order and operatives of the State Security Service confronted Boko Haram fighters.

Mohammed has been on the top list of the most wanted Boko Haram leaders. Intelligence sources told Saharareporters  that Mohammed was involved in the planning and execution of various terrorists attacks in and outside Borno state. He was allegedly the mastermind of the March 18th Boko Haram’s attack on Sanda Karami Secondary School at Ruwan-Zafi in which a teacher and three female students were killed.

Mr. Mohammed is believed to be the successor to Ba’ana Assalafi , a Boko Haram commander who was killed in a gun battle with security agencies in Sokoto.

9 JAMB CANDIDATES DIE IN ACCIDENT TODAY

No fewer than nine candidates going to sit for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations today were feared dead in an auto crash on the Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway.

The Public Relations Officer of the Abia State Police Command, Mr Geoffrey Ogbonna, said seven persons, including the driver died instantly while two others died later in hospital. The police did not identify the victims.

Photography student and Brooklyn native Jen Davis was hanging out on the beach with her friends on a sunny day in 2002 when she decided to snap a photo of herself. After she developed the roll of film, Davis was stunned at the image which showed her looking uncomfortable in a one-piece swimsuit while her friends lounged in bikinis. From then on, Davis, now 34, began documenting her life in a series of photos called "Self-Portraits", snapping her most personal moments. "I had never really photographed myself but that beach shot made me realize that I had to step in front of the camera," she says. "I needed to look at myself." The result is an 11-year documentation of Davis' life, including her 110-pound weight loss transformation with Lap-Band surgery. She's also working on a forthcoming photography book (2014). As warm summer days give way to cool autumn air, it is time to start thinking about feathering our nests and preparing for long days and nights indoors. While summer style is all about light and airy rooms, Autumn style calls for rich colors, cozy fabrics and turning to the harvest for decorating inspiration,

Instructions

1. Group living furniture into cozy seating arrangements. Keep coffee tables and end tables at the ready, to hold a good book and cup of mulled cider. Cover hardwood floors with warm area rugs, to take the chill of bare feet.

2. Keep window treatments light, to allow plenty of sunlight in the daytime. To add some warm autumn color, top with a valance of brocade or chintz in a rich gold, amber or crimson tone.

3. Cover tables with autumn inspired tablecloths. Patterns of falling leaves, gourds, gingham, all add warmth to the kitchen or dining room.

4. Swap out bouquets of summer flowers for centerpieces of pumpkins and other gourds. Fill a large bowl with gourds or fruits for a simple autumn accent.

5. Use candle light in the evening, to mimic the flicker flames of an old fashion fireplace. Just be sure to keep candles out the reach of children and pets and away from flammable object.

6. Decorate with books. Stack your favorite books on end tables or coffee tables to keep them in easy reach during the cold months ahead. 7

7. Cover an old chair or sofa with a slipcover in a brilliant autumn hue and add some matching throw pillows, for an easy autumn inspired makeover.
