The Lord blessed my family once again this weekend
with the birth of Daina Hope Perry, the fourth child of
my son Drew and his wonderful wife Carol.
She was born at home into a host of midwives and
excited family members and weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces.
Can you tell I'm a proud grandmother?
Babies are just about THE BEST present you could ever
get.
And in case you haven't met my son Drew yet, here's your
chance.
I've asked him to share what being an entrepreneur is like
on a special webcast tomorrow night.
He's been home educated since he was in the second grade.
He's been self-employed for most of his life, except the few
months he worked at McDonald's to learn about systems.
(Maybe I can get him to tell you a few of those stories! What
a riot!)
He's helped other entrepreneurs set up businesses, he's built
houses, he's sold houses on eBay, he's spoken to real estate
investors at their monthly meetings, he has a dirt business and
he sells large equipment on eBay.
He's never been to college, except to roof the buildings, and
he brought his dad home from corporate America in just 3 years.
He pretty much does what he wants and no two days are the same.
And in my estimation, any one who can sell dirt, has something
to say.
Sell dirt?
Yep.
So I've asked him to tell you a little about himself and the mindset
