Upcoming Events: The First Niger Delta Fashion & Design week (NDFDW) 2018

The Warri Economic Summit 2018 has birthed another Novell initiative, the first Niger Delta Fashion & Design week (NDFDW) 2018 organised by Kestak synergy limited and Rita Ojo, Miss Peace Niger Delta 2018 and Founder Niger Delta Development Initiative.

The NDFDW is an initiative of young creative minded people with the vision to create opportunities for young entrepreneurs and help turn their creativity and developed skills into job and wealth creation.

The purpose of the event is to drive the Niger Delta fashion industry by bringing the most

creative, promising and emerging fashion designers, brands and retail enterprises from across Nigeria and Africa to showcase their latest fashion trends and products to a large and diverse audience of buyers, consumers, media and fashion enthusiasts.

The event is also aimed at making the Niger Delta region a global focus and key driver of the African fashion industry,

And also promote made in Nigeria products and the Niger Delta rich cultural heritage across the globe as well as to showcase and empower entrepreneurs in the fashion industry across Niger Delta

The week long event would feature Retail Exhibition for textile(fabrics), clothing and apparels, footwear’s, jewellery, hair,craft, food and agro e.t.c,

Fashion Business masterclass ( Capacity building session for entrepreneurs),

Designer competition( I Sabi design competition) talent identification and empowerment initiative

Runway.

The Conveners also used the opportunity to admit the Warri South LGA Hon. Michael Tidi (PhD) as a member of its advisory board.
