Proverbs 18:21 "Life and death are in the power of the tongue..."
We need to start speaking life into our marriage. Speak positive about your situation, no matter what you are seeing. Allow no one to speak negative about your situation.
Why should you constantly say, "My marriage will never be restored." Our God is not a liar. NEVER has He failed in anything He has set out to do. He has a good track record. Our God is nothing but success, success. There is no failure in God.
An example of how words can bring forth death and destruction can be found in Mark 11:13-14,20:
"And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, He (Jesus) came, if haply He might find any thing thereon: and when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was
not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, "No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever." And His disciples heard it. And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots."
On the other hand, an example of words bringing forth life can be found in John 11:43-44:
"And when He thus had spoken, He (Jesus) cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go."
We can see from these two examples just how powerful our words can be. It is our privilege and responsibility as Christians to speak forth positive life-giving words in our circumstance.
Proverbs 12:25 says that "Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad." and "pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones" (Proverbs 16:24).
"Set guard over my mouth, O Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips." (Psalm 141:3).
When God created the heavens and the earth He spoke it into existence. He said let there be light and there was light. In His word He says we will do greater works.
If that is so and the word says The Power is in our tongue then we should be able to speak to that mountain and it shall be moved.
We should be able to speak to that bad situation in our lives and it shall be moved.
We need not speak of the problem, but speak what the word says about whatever situation we go through, by speaking the solution through the word.
"May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in you sight, O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer." (Psalm 19:14).
When we feel down we should speak and say That I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus that strengthens me.
When we feel unworthy we should say that I am the righteousness of God.
When you feel as though you have enemies at every turn you should say that "No weapon formed against me shall prosper any tongue that rises against me in judgment God shall condemn it."
We must learn to speak positive in our situation. The enemy tries to get us to speak negative into our lives through using mind battles, Making you think that you will never receive a breakthrough. The enemy wants you to be defeated by being negative.
Speak life into your situation and watch God work on your behalf. Walk by faith and not by sight.
I want each of you to know that I am praying and interceding on your behalf daily. Please consider partnering with me. I need your support. Thanks in advance.
