[marriagerestoration] Digest Today : Don't Be Moved!!

Psalm 16:8 "I have set the Lord always before me: because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved."

It is easy in these trying times to begin to walk by what we see or hear. There is trouble in various homes or the threat of trouble all around us. I am reminded of the question of the Psalmist, "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" The next verse
begins," The Lord is in His holy temple". He hasn't moved, He hasn't abdicated His throne.

Don't be moved by outward appearance. Nothing, absolutely nothing can stand in God's way. When He is ready to act, He will. He prevails at all times and He will have the final say in your situation.

We walk by faith, not by sight . . . while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the
things which are not seen. (2Co.5:7 and 2Co. 4:18)

Are you walking by faith or by sight? If you are walking by sight, then you will be moved by what you see or hear in your situation.

When we consciously decide to put the Lord before us, when we willingly defer to Him as the True Source of our strength by regarding Him as our "Right Hand," we will find that we shall not be moved - despite the many challenges of external circumstances that befall us in this temporal world.

If your word, or confession, is in opposition to God's Word - it will not prosper, and it will return void. God's Word is eternal truth; circumstances are brief and temporary. That's why we are to walk by faith - not by sight (2Cor 5:7).

Remember, in spite of what you are facing in your home, you are more than CONQUEROR. Don't be moved. There is hope and it is inseparable from faith. Fear and faith cannot co-exist.

Speak life in your situation and don't be move by the negative things your spouse is doing or saying to you. "God hates divorce." "What God has joined together, let no man separate". God will watch over His Word to perform it (Jer 1:12).

If it is not in line with His word, He will not perform it. God's word will prosper (Isa 55:11), and not return void.
