Rumor has it that the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse II, has reversed his controversial edict that has pitched him against his subjects, including his powerful council of chiefs.
Ogiame Atuwatse’s u-turn was announced on Tuesday by Chief Lori-Ogbebor, one of the influential palace chiefs, after a meeting of chiefs and the traditional ruler, who is a born-again Christian.
