Hi there, my heart goes out to you. No one should have to endure all the suffering and miseries that partner of yours have put you through. No matter the amount of advice I could give you, none is going to be more helpful than suggesting that you pray to God and ask him for his divine help. There is a song that says " Because He lives I can face tomorrow, because my God lives all fears are gone...." It's going to be a touch journey ahead, as you try to move forward, but with God all things are possible. He will never give you more than you can bear. So I would advice you to pray about this, and ask him to send the right person to you, when the time is right. In the meantime, take it day by day. Try to stay around positive and supportive people. God already knows your story!

I think you need counselling. If this is not possible, then do you have family or friends you can talk it all through with.

Hi im new here my situation isnt the easiest to explain basically im 31 and only had one relationship if you can call it a relationship it started when I was 14 it was a very abusive relationship he played games with my head he was violent both physically and sexually this went on for 10 years I didn't see him for few years and rocked back up and tried to abuse me again I reported him and is now in prison the problem is he has left me a wreak I have a number of mental health problems as a result of what he put me through ive moved towns and changed my name so he cant find me and to start new life I want to try another relationship and want children one day i just know I don't want to be alone forever but I feel scared that I will be raped and attacked again how can I overcome this im trying to repair the damage his done but I don't know what to do or how to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
