[entrepreneurs] How to motivate your children

My #1 goal in educating my 7 children is to get them
to become self-educating so that I can quit dragging
them through life kicking and screaming.

Know what I mean?

Wouldn't you just love for your child to say,
"Hey Mom, let's learn physics!"?

Or

"Mom, don't bother me for the next hour because
I'll be cleaning my room."

Well, that can happen.

The key is the WAY they are educated.

If all decisions about their educational processes are made
FOR them, they will always let someone else take the lead.

They won't feel qualified to make their own decisions.

And the internal struggle they will experience may lead to
deviantbehavior which can be displayed in a variety of actions
or non-actions.

But when you empower them to make decisions, there is a greater
chance they will step into the role of ownership concerning
their own lives, including their education.

Will they make mistakes?

Absolutely!

We all do.

That's how we learn.

Mom, that also may mean you no longer have total control.

But wouldn't it be simply marvelous if your children didn't
have to be told over and over and over again to do their school
work and chores?

Wouldn't it be wonderful if they voluntarily contributed to the
family's responsibilities?

It is possible.

The ultimate goal is to encourage and educate them to do
whatever it is they are called by God to do and live an abundant
and financially stable life serving God and man with their talents
and gifts.

Next Tuesday we're going to begin a 4-week virtual course on
how to educate students to think entrepreneurially while also
serving God.

That means, learning to become self-motivated.

We call it our Entrepreneurial Education Course and I would love
for you to join us!

It's four one-hour virtual sessions once a week for four weeks.

The classes will be recorded so if you miss one, you can catch
up later.

We'll have an interactive discussion group so you can ask questions
when you think of them throughout the week.

The deadline to register is midnight this Sunday so if you are
interested, you can learn more about it here:

from educating our children to think and live differently
