I need to say this to someone today:
There are times when facing difficult circumstances that it is very
tempting to allow ourselves to become discouraged, which if allowed,
will produce weakness. At those times, though, instead of giving in
to discouragement, we need to do as David did, and encourage
ourselves in the Lord our God. (See I Samuel 30:6.)
We need to fill ourselves with, and meditate on and stand on God's Word. We need to think of His goodness, His faithfulness, and His power. We need to wait upon Him – spending time in His presence, in intimacy with Him.
Isaiah 40:31 says, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew
their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall
run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
We must not grow weary, or become discouraged in well-doing, but we
must be strong in faith, firmly established on God's Word. God's Word
is truth. We can expect to receive what He has promised.
If you are standing on God's Word, believing His Word, you need to
keep trusting. It pleases God when we stand in faith, believing Him
to do what His Word says He will do.
A God whose character is unquestionable. God's promises are reliable.
God's promises are real, and they are ours to receive. The writer to
the Hebrews encouraged his readers with these words: Hebrews
10:23 "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering,
for He who promised is faithful."
A lot of people are looking at their circumstances. They are walking
by sight. When we walk by sight we tend to grow weary. Don't be
distracted by what you see or hear.
There is a due season, or appropriate time for the manifestation of
God's promises to us, and God knows when that time is. Sometimes the
manifestation takes place immediately, which is great, but if we have
to wait for God's due season, or the right time, we must not grow
weary.
Eternal Father, we are absolutely convinced that You are able to
perform that which You have promised us. We refuse to be distracted
by the negative things we see or hear, for our hearts are fixed,
trusting in You. Therefore, we say without a doubt that marriages are
healed and restored. Lives will be changed and spouses will be
reunited once again.
Surely, stand on God's Word and do not grow weary. God is not a liar.
Therefore, wait upon the Lord. Wait, I say upon the Lord!!

And I pray that more of you will start showing your support.
