When You Are Weak, He is Strong
No matter how strong you are in your faith in God, you will find yourself in places sometimes that really try your emotions.
When life hurts, it is such a comfort to read the Word of God.
When trouble and heartache comes..and it will…you and I can rest assured that God has our back. (If you put your faith in Him and truly believe He is yourSavior).
I know that when you apply God's word to your life, things turn out much betterthan when youtry to handle your hurts or fears or problems your way.
1 Peter 5:6,7 (NKJV) ~ Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Notice that it doesn't say He will exalt you in your time..He says in "due time". He knows the perfect time. His timing IS perfect. The point is, He does care. When we hurt, He is still there. When we are impatient and want our way, not His..He is still there.
We have to learn to release control of our lives to God. The ONE ..the only ONE who will never let us down.
Proverbs 3:5,6 ~ Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.
He wants us to release it ALL to Him. He cares about it ALL! This should be so comforting to us. We don't have to be anxious or worried or handle anything by ourselves.
In fact, when we give it ALL to God…He works everything to our good. We have to learn to accept that our version of good and God's version of good are usually different. His way is always best though!
Romans 8:28 (NKJV) ~ And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
We must learn to trust Him completely, because He knows and understands all that will befall us. He has promised to be our refuge and we are not to be afraid, nomatter the circumstances or those involved.
Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
Often the circumstances of the day can overwhelm us, because we may momentarily take our eyes and trust off Him. He is faithful, and will never abandon us. He allows us to struggle at times so that we may learn to lean on Him with complete trust and acceptance of what He is allowing in our lives.
The Lord has not abandoned you. He will stand by your side and strengthen you. Don't give up in your situation. Stand fast and allow the Lord to deliver you.
I am praying for you. I want you to know that I am standing with you.
