NOTE: The storm has passed without much damage. Lives were spared. I went to a friend's house but when I returned my roof collapsed. I am rejoicing that I was not at home at the time. The Lord spared our lives. Thanks for your prayers. God is good and faithful and He will bring us through. PD

As of late I have been providing godly counseling to many who are waiting on God for their breakthrough. Their constant cry: "Pastor Doreen, I feel so much alone and fearful. My spouse is gone and is hounding me for a divorce." "I need your prayer."
God promised us in several places in the Bible, that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Hebrews 13:5,6. God wants us to trust that He is with us always. He never promised us that others will never leave or forsake us. He says, "He WILL NEVER leave or forsake us."
The fact that "He said He will never leave us," we all have the potential to leave or abandon each other. If this were not so, He would be a liar.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
No matter how difficult the situation may be, the promise of God is that He is with us, and thus we need not have any fear. No matter how long the journey or how high the mountain; God has promised to be there guiding and comforting us with His rod and staff. Even when we must tread through the very valley of the shadow of death, God is there holding us by the hand.
He promised that He is always with us Matthew 28:20b. One of the things that excite me in the goodness of God is the fact that not only is God for us; He is with us and in us and will NEVER leave us alone.
Dear Lord, I ask You to bless everyone who is reading today's Devotional. Show them a new revelation of Your love and power. Let them turn to You as their source of strength when they feel so alone or feardul. I think of Christ and know that the loneliness He felt in Gethsemane and on the cross must have been far greater than you feel now.
Lord, I thank You for being so accessible and understanding. Help them to overcome their isolation and to reach out to others once again. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment.
Where there is pain, give them Your peace and Your mercy. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace. Where there is need, I ask you to fulfill their needs. Give them good health, long life and prosperity, even as their souls prosper.
Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings. Help them to remember You are the reason for this season. In Thy precious name I pray. Amen.
Know that I am praying and interceding on your behalf daily. For those who are supporting me in this quest, I want to reach out to thank each of you. Thank you.
