Think Positive About Your Situation!!
Phil. 4:8, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of GOOD REPORT; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
The Apostle Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, wrote in his letter to the Philippians that we should think about those things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, and that
are virtuous and praiseworthy.
It is a good report when you think that your marriage will be healed and restored, if you pray and believe without doubting. It is a good report when you think that no matter what the circumstances, God is in control and not your wayward spouse.
It is a good report when we think that "all things work together for good"... (Rom. 8:28); and that God will bring good out of a bad situation.
It is a good report to believe and know that God has the final say and not a disobedient spouse. It is a good report when you think and believe without doubting, that God will turn your situation around.
Sometime when I examine my thoughts, I know that they don't always stay within those perimeters. Sometimes my mind swirls with anger and revenge when I'm wronged, or it dwells on what I think someone else should be doing or not doing, or it is troubled with fear and anxiety about all the "what ifs" that abound. These kinds of thoughts obviously do not fit in with those things God's Word says we should be thinking about.
But today I've got wonderful news for you: there is hope beyond your circumstances. You can live above them. If a man named Paul could live above his unbelievably trying circumstances, so can you. But Christ must become your central focus. He, alone, can empower you and teach you to live above the duress of adversity
God is in control and no matter what you are seeing or hearing, think positive about your situation because with God, YOU CANNOT FAIL.
I am praying for you and interceding on your behalf. I want to thank those who have been assisting me in this quest for the healing of marriages. Without your prayers and financial support, there is no way I would be able to encourage and minister to many. I thank God daily for your obedience and faithfulness.
