If you want to have your own business on the net,
one essential skill set to have or hire out is copywriting.
What on earth is "copywriting," you ask?
Copywriting is crafting the words for websites and marketing
materials, such as emails like this one.
Websites don't sell, words do.
If written or spoken words don't convince visitors to take
action, no business transpires.
So it is extremely important to learn how to write for the web.
If you are not a writer, you at least need to know what
needs to be said so you can manage the copywriter you hire.
One of my favorite people in the entire world is also one of the
best copywriters in the world.
Well, at least I think so.
I believe he is a pen in the hand of God on this earth and I have
told him that to his face.
