On one of my excursions out into the world of
business, I once sat by a CEO of Some Company
in an airport waiting area.
He wouldn't tell me what company he worked for
even though I tried to get him to fess up.
Realizing this was a great opportunity, I told
him I work with young people and families who are
interested in starting businesses.
Then I asked, "What is the one piece of advice
you would give to a young person just starting
in business"?
His answer was simple.
"Learn to network."
"That's it"? I asked.
"Yes," he growled. "That's the main thing."
So I continued learning more about that magical
topic of building relationships with others that I
so love.
And in my studies, I ran across a wonderful little
