ANOTHER RESTORATION!
Hi Pastor Doreen. You don't know me but I have been reading your daily devotionals for several months. I considered myself a prodigal because I left my wife a couple years ago to live with my female companion.
Pastor, I had many sleepless nights while I was living in sin. Especially after reading the Bible and your daily devotionals.
Many times after reading your daily devotionals, I would be strongly convicted by the Word of God and contemplated returning to my marriage, if my wife would have me back.
Hence, I called my wife last week to ask for forgiveness and to ask if she would have me back. She was very excited to hear my voice and I am writing to tell you that we are now back together.
Please pray for us and thanks again for helping those who are still waiting for their breakthrough. Doug

Have No Fear!!
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. II Timothy 1:7
Many people continue to live in fear. They fear they will grow old alone and their marriage will never be healed and restored. Many have much anxiety. They fear the future.
My friends you need not fear. We only need to fear the Lord. You see, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and all other fear has no place in the Christian's life.
Many are fearing that their spouse will not return, or their marriage will not be restored before a certain time. God wants us to trust Him and not to have any fear. He is able to work it out. He wants us to trust Him in this situation.
Joshua 1:9 "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."
Peter tells us not to be surprised when fiery trials come. Trust me, when I'm going through trials, I need to remind myself that I'm not the only person going through them. Many people are going through trials – through persecutions, hardships, loneliness, and so much more.
FEAR NO EVIL, Today I say to you my friend, no matter the struggle you are going through, the Lord is saying to you today, fear no evil, because He is with you. He is with you today, He will never leave or forsake you.
Fear should never overtake us but we should allow the Holy Spirit to lead us in our every day walk with the Lord. If the Lord took care of us yesterday, shall He not take care of us tomorrow? If He has provided for your daily strength for today, shall He not supply strength tomorrow, as you look to Him?
We need to remember trials produce patience and maturity.
James 1:3 – "Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience." Can you see how God is using these trials to make you pliable? He's causing a stiff, unyielding person to become softened, sweet, loving – the way He wants you to be.
Remember, God wants us to know the blessing and the peace that comes from being steadfast and unmovable. God desires that we may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing – James 1:4.
Be strong my dear friend. God will never leave you nor forsake you.
So, fear not, because greater is He that is in you than any situation you face. Greater is He that is in you than any circumstance in your life. God is greater and He is right there with you to help you and uphold you, because He loves you so much.
Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
