Trusting God When You Don't Understand!!
It's easy to say, "give your cares to the Lord and trust Him" when everything in life seems to be going well. It's easy to say, "I trust you Lord with everything is going well" But can you trust God even when you don't understand?"
Will you trust God even when you don't understand; even when life hurts? Whatever situation you are facing right now, do you believe that God is able to turn your situation around?
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last (Revelation 22:13).
Who else can say that but God? No one, only God can say such a thing. God knows everything: the past, current and future and our knowledge and understanding doesn't even compare to the knowledge and understanding of God – even when it applies to our own life.
The Lord wants us to trust Him even when we don't understand. He wants us to endure and not to give up. He tells us to "lay aside every weight and to run the race with endurance." But then He seems to place obstacles in our way—trials, hardship, suffering, etc. Even then, the Lord wants us to trust Him.
Even when we don't understand we need to do what Proverbs 3 says: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
What does He mean "don't lean on your own understanding." We don't need to try to figure it out. We need to trust that God will make a way even when there is no visible way. God is able to do the impossible in any situation.
In your marriage, you may be facing a dead end right now, but God can see a path that you don't know about. If you will trust God and keep on moving in faith, even when you don't see a way, He will make a way.
Leave your wayward spouse to the Lord. The Lord is able to change a heart. He is able to remove scales from eyes. Trust God even when you don't understand.
