And Suddenly!!
Acts 2:1-11 When the day of Pentecost had come, the disciples were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting.
One day your wayward spouse is threatening all negatives. The next day the Lord is able to suddenly speak to their hearts. Is anything too hard for the Lord?
What do you desire to happen suddenly? Do you desire your marriage to be healed and restored suddenly? God is able to speak to your wayward spouse suddenly. God is able to change a wayward's heart suddenly. God is never slow. He isalways on time. Suddenly God is able to change your situation.
Your spouse is gone, there are no signs of he/she returning, but you still continue to pray with anticipation. There is no immediate answer, but you continue to persevere and wonder when your "suddenly" comes.
Be encouraged, God heard your prayers even before you prayed and is working out the details behind the scene. You haven't heard from your spouse, but God is working. Your spouse has become a total stranger, but God is working. Your spouse is mean and nasty, but God is working. Your spouse's heart is hard, but God is working. Don't give up. Suddenly, suddenly, God will do this for you. With God, your situation can change SUDDENLY.
How many times in the past I would hear from many spouses I counsel, the mean words of their prodigals, such as: "I will never return; go on with your life; I don't love you anymore; I am going to divorce you, etc."
Then suddenly after much prayer, these same prodigals would return home, repentant and very remorseful asking for forgiveness. God is able to do this for you suddenly.
Trusting God often requires not knowing how God is going to accomplish what needs to be done and not knowing when He will do it. We often say, God is never late, but generally He isn't early either. Why? Because He uses times of waiting to stretch our faith in Him, and to bring about change and growth in our lives.
Many may be asking, "how long do I need to wait for God to heal my marriage; or when will this happen?"
Acts 1:4 "And, being assembled together with [them], commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father..."
God is a God of the suddenly. It doesn't matter how long you have waited. It doesn't matter how many tears you've shed. It doesn't matter how broken your heart has become. When God answers that prayer ... it will come suddenly.
It may be that sudden phone call from a wayward spouse. Or that unexpected visit, etc. What about that sudden knock on the door? God is able to suddenly change the heart of a wayward spouse. He is able to suddenly move a heart. Is anything too hard for the Lord? Since being in the ministry all these years, how many times have I heard of these "suddenlies.? "And suddenly a wayward spouse is home."
Today, I want each of you to know that I am praying and interceding on your behalf. Wait upon the Lord. Wait I say upon the Lord for your suddenlies.
I am praying for you. Thanks in advance for your support. I need your support to continue keep this Ministry going.
Be encouraged
