As an encourager, I know moments when ministry confronts me with situation where I am speechless, or at best, my words were inadequate. Yet, so often God gives me words, His Word, at just the right moment to comfort a hurting heart, so that I can be a blessing and share truth which is beyond me.
Never has it been more apparent than in this day and hour just how much we all need to be encouraged. We all need to hear that God can do the impossible, as His Word says. God's Word is powerful and can be trusted.
We needs to come to an even deeper understanding that God's Word will endure any amount of pressure we put upon it, because it is higher than the heavens and it has been established by God Himself.
Imagine what power there is in the Word of God. God's Word cannot be opposed. It conquers and overcomes what it was sent forth by God to conquer, overcome, and defeat.
(Phil. 4:19)."My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus"
(Psa. 84:11). "The LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly"
(Rom. 8:32) "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall he not with Him also freely give us all things".
God is not a man that He should lie; nor the son of man that He should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? (Numbers 23:19)
Heb. 4:12 "For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires."
There is no circumstance that God's Word cannot change; there is no problem which may have tried to master you that God's Word cannot overmaster. There is no mountain or problem in your life that is too high for God's Word to surmount!
The Scripture declares that even the very pillars of heaven tremble at the words that God speaks (Job 26:11).
God is not a liar. He is faithful and can be trusted to do what He says He will do.
(Isa. 42:16 ) "And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them"
Prov. 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;"
Today I say to each of you, "Will you trust the Lord to work in your situation?" Will you lay it all at His feet and watch Him work on your behalf?"
Know today that no one can stand against God. God is victorious at all times. He rules and will have the last word. Will you trust Him today?
We are our brothers' keeper and this is pleasing to the Lord when we pray and intercede for each other.
Today I want to pray a blessing upon each of you. We are living in trying times, but God is able and although the situation may seem out of control, know today with confidence, that God is very much in control.
