Andrew is on his way home.
I want to thank all of you for praying for my son Andrew. He served in the Armed Forces. Andrew lost his job, was suicidal and homeless. He was living on the streets in California. God answered our prayers. Andrew called a few days ago declaring he is tired of eating out of trash and sleeping on the sidewalks. The Prodigal is on his way home. Again, thank you for praying for my son. Praise God!! PD

Good morning my friends. If you are presently going through a hard time in your home, pray and ask the Lord to give you a breakthrough and wait upon Him to change your situation.
God can do the impossible in your situation and He is able to work on your behalf. He will answer your prayers and in the end you will be victorious. Yes, I am confident that He will answer you.
The beauty of God answering prayer is just that; He answers us! God, in His ultimate and unfailing love desires nothing less than our absolute best. Only God can see the big picture. He has planned out everything to intertwine perfectly in the end. Part of His plan includes working through our prayers. We pray, yet we doubt He hears us. He has promised, however, to hear His children. Although He hears us, He doesn't always give the answer on our timetable.
When we pray, there are things we can know and other things we cannot. For instance, we have the assurance that God will hear our prayer if we know Him as our Heavenly father through faith in Jesus, and we know that His answer will come.
When waiting on God to answer prayers, we must believe God will answer. Unbelief is the biggest obstacle to overcome in praying and waiting. James 1:6-7 "But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect Him to answer, for a doubtful mind is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. People like that should not expect to receive anything from the Lord"
For those who do know him and rely on him, Jesus seems to be wildly generous in His offer: "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you." To "remain" in him and have His words remain in them means they conduct their lives aware of him, relying on him, listening to what he says. Then they're able to ask him whatever they want.
Here is another qualifier: "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, he hears us. And if we know that He hears us -- whatever we ask -- we know that we have what we asked of Him. 1 John 5:14,15 "God answers our prayers according to His will (and according to his wisdom, His love for us, His holiness, etc.).
God asks us to take any concerns to Him in prayer and He will act upon it according to His will. As we deal with difficulties we are to cast our cares on Him and receive from Him a peace that defies the circumstances. The basis for our hope and faith is the character of God Himself. The better we know Him, the more apt we are to trust Him.
My friends, never forget that answers come in God's time -- not ours. Jer. 2(:11 (NIV) says, "`For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, `plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"
I love you my friends and I pray and intercede on your behalf daily. God has promised His own a hopeful future. Rest in God's faithfulness. He will answer you.
