Believe The Report of the Lord!!
How many times have you been filled with doubt?
How many times have you given up on the promises of God because it seemed impossible?
How many times have your eyes turned toward circumstances instead of focusing on the deliverer?
How many times have you been given a negative report and laid claim to it?
Every morning we wake up and make a choice..."Am I going to trust God today? Am I going to walk by faith? Am I going to believe the lies my prodigal is telling me? Am I going to believe the negative reports? OR am I going to believe the TRUTH? GOD'S HOLY WORD!"
Numbers 32:19: "God is not a man that He should lie." God is reliable and immutable! He does not change, therefore His words always come to pass.
The last time I checked His word says to come boldly to the throne of Grace! "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4: 16).
"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith (utter confidence in God's promises)" (Hebrews 10:22).
Caleb was bold in his faith. He did not turn and run from his fight. He knew that on his own, he was far too weak but he was not relying on himself! He was relying on the promises of God! He knew that "Greater is He that is in us than he that is in this world" (1 John 4:4).He knew that "We are more than conquerors" (Romans 8:37).
Has your spouse broken the vow (promise) you made on your wedding day? What now? Who do you turn to?
Turn to the One who can not break His promise to you! Though our spouse has lied, our God does not lie! When He makes a promise, He keeps it! Has He made a promise to you about the restoration of your marriage? Then rest assured He will do it!
Everyday we make a choice.....Today will you focus on the circumstances? Today will you feel hopeless? Today will you take the negative reports and claim them? OR, will you trust in our God who keeps his promises? We need to be like Caleb, strengthened in our faith, reminded and encouraged by the very word of God, steadfast in our faith that God will do what He has promised to do!
The Lord will keep His promises.......
Will you..till death do you part? "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering for He who promised is faithful" (Hebrews 10:23).
"God is faithful" (1 Cor 1:9).
"He who calls you is faithful who also will do it" (1 Thess 5:24).
