Victory!!
"Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 15:57).
Lord, help us to trust You even when circumstances would lead us to feel that You are distant and unaware of our circumstances. When we look to the difficulties in our lives we can easily become overwhelmed, fearful and confused. But when we look to You, Lord, who endured the times of testing by spending time in passionate prayer we are strengthened and encouraged.
When You were overwhelmed with sorrow even to the point of death You fell with Your face to the ground and surrendered Your human will to the Father's plan which included suffering. Help us, Lord, to watch and pray so that we will not fall into temptation but rather that our spirit and flesh will be strengthened as we remain victorious through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Man's ways are variable, but God's ways are everlasting. There are many reasons for this most comforting truth: among them are the following--the Lord's ways are the result of wise deliberation; He ordereth all things according to the counsel of His own will.
Rom. 8:37 "Despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us."
Every Christian can therefore expect times of testing, for these serve the divine purposes of refining and strengthening the believer's faith. It is important for the one going through this
fiery trial to remember that this trial is here for God's purpose.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? I John 5:4, 5
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I've discovered that when our circumstances are so alarming or discouraging that it's hard for us to pray or trust God, we can believe Him for victory, and begin thanking Him for it by faith. We serve a God who is victory-minded. You don't have to spend very much time in the Scriptures to discover that victory is the Lord's will for His children in every situation and circumstance.
1 Corinthians 15:57 (NASB) says, "Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 2 Corinthians 2:14 "Thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ."
Allow the Lord to work a miracle in your situation and walk in the peace and joy that is your inheritance in Christ. Have faith and know without a doubt that God is working in your situation. The Bible says: "We have the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles for us!" (2 Chronicles 32:8 NLT) Whenever we let God do the fighting, we simply can't lose.
No matter what kind of difficulty you are facing right now, rest assured that victory is the Lord's will for you. May this precious promise from His Word encourage your heart today: "Cheer up, don't be afraid. For the Lord your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty Savior. He will give you victory!" (Zephaniah 3:17 )
