EXCLUSIVE REPORT: How Professor Charles Dokubo, Hired Ijaw...

EXCLUSIVE REPORT: How Professor Charles Dokubo, Hired Ijaw Militants To Unleash Mayhem And Terror On Protesting Niger Delta Students nAt National Assembly, Abuja.

Image may contain: 1 person, sitting
Preamble
Premised upon the general outcry of injustice, oppression, favouritism, nepotism, sectionalism, vindictiveness on his predicessor, and the selective and discriminatory payment of the statutory monthly stipends of students that has characterized the lopsided and ineffective management of the Amnesty programme since Professor Charles Quaker Dokubo, assumed office around March this year, the students who the Professor has subjected to all forms of emotional, physcological and economic torture that has made a
majority of them to loss concentration on their acedemics and many others frustrated out of the programme across Nigerian universities who are the beneficiaries of the 2017/2018 amnesty schorlarship, decided to take the fight for National inclusion, equal educational opportunities and a better life to the gate of their oppressor in Abuja and to the hallow chambers of the National Assembly where those who represents them usually gather to pass the budgets of the Presidential amnesty programme since it’s inception in 2009, under late President Umaru Musa Yaradua. This time around, the students who the Professor and his cohorts have been denying them of their rights to freedom from institutionalized discrimination, came together under one umbrella, named “Coalition of Concerned Niger Delta Amnesty Students 2017/2018”
The trip to Abuja was to among other things to do the following.
1. Draw the attention of the Special Adviser to the inherent problems that the amnesty programme will experience both in the short and long run should he continue to create a distinction between the various students from the Niger Delta region who hitherto now has been treated equally in the programme the moment they get in. The trip was to make the coordinator realize that the selective and discriminatory payment of the statutory monthly stipends on the basis of UN code/Non UN code, names on Database /No names on Database, cleared/uncleared students, sectionalism, favouritism, nepotism and ethnicity, will amount to the total collapse of the programme as those who have been paid their stipends of five hundred and thirty thousand naira (#530,000:00) each cannot be expected to perform and produce the same acedemic results like those who have been denied their stipends under the same learning environment. The trip was also to plead with the Special Adviser on the need of paying all the students stipends without any criteria of discrimination as he did by paying all the students school fees and accommodation fees without resorting to the excuse of names been on the amnesty office database or not. UN code or not. Cleared or uncleared list. Etc. It was purely a mission for an appeal for inclusion from a man who the students saw as a father that ordinarily ought to treat all his children fairly without bias for peace, unity and succes of the programme to be attained throughout the universities.
2. The trip was to also draw the attention of the members of the National Assembly to the bad situation and mismanagement of the programme since Professor Charles Dokubo came on board should he fail to listen to the genuine appeal of the students. The students were very conscious of the fact that the right to a peaceful gathering and association and freedom of expression are all constitutionally quaranteed fundamental rights of citizens within the provisions of the Nigerian constitution, the highest law of the land. They also choose to stage the protest right in the National Assembly because, their politically elected representatives were there and as such can help them take up the issues since they are the ones who usually pass the budgets of the amnesty office and other arms/angencies of government.
3. As a last option, the Coalition of Concerned Niger Delta Students 2017/2018 set as a last resort should all dialogue collapse, intended to seek judicial interpretations of the discriminatory payment of the statutory monthly stipends by professor Charles Dokubo while paying the school fees and accommodation fees of all the students without giving excuses on finding or not finding their names on database or not. Having UN code or not. Cleared or uncleared. Having their admission letters signed by him or not etc.
Day one: 17th December 2018.
Students arrived the Federal Capital City, FCT, Abuja in droves from different schools. Those who Professor Dokubo has tortured pyyscologically and emotionally had resolved through the “Coalition of Concerned Niger Delta Amnesty Students 2017/2018 to take their destinies in their hands and despite the Hunger and hardships they have been subjected to since their deployment to the various schools in February /March 2018 had promised to go and seek justice in Abuja. These students yielded to the call for justice on behalf of the rest affected students. It is pertinent to reiterate it here that while some individuals from certain schools paid their own personal transport to Abuja without a kobo from the other students deprived of their stipends, other got to Abuja after scratching and scrapping themselves to hire buses for the journey. Arrangements for hotels and feeding was also either a personal thing or a collective thing from the little the students could gather. Worthy of mention is the fact majority of those students who were paid by Professor Dokubo, disappeared from school without contributing a dime to help their fellow students who together with them were been maltreated by the professor before paying them. There were different schools who could not make the journey due to one reason or the other but those who galvanized the process were conscious of the fact that in such struggle, there are those who will always champion such trips. Delegates settled down in Abuja to brainstorm on steps to take.
Day 2: 18th December, 2018
The Coalition went to meet renowned human right lawyer Barrister Kayode Ajulo in his office to seek legal advice. Barrister Kayode Ajulo has been the one assisting these sets of students in demanding for equity and fairness through the writing of series of petitions to the Amnesty office on the need to do the right thing by treating all the students with equity and fairness. He has on several occasions done all these without collecting a penny from the students. After talking with the students and putting calls to so many personalities in the across the presidency on the need to handle the issue in such a manner that mischief makers will not take advantage of it to use the aggrieved students to cause trouble for government in the restive Niger Delta region, as the nation prepares for a general election in 2019, he finally put a call to the Amnesty office and the personal assistant to Professor Charles Dokubo requested for a meeting with the lawyer and two representatives of the students in the Amnesty office at number 37A Nile Street, Maitama, Abuja.
Outcome of the meeting between Barrister Ajulo, Amnesty office represented by Mr Murphy Ganagana , head of education onshore and two others for aggrieved students.
After briefing the amnesty office representatives about the thorny issues and the anger of the deprived students surrounding the decision of Professor Dokubo not to pay some students their stipends while paying others, and what it means to the educational dreams of those denied, the students representatives asked the amnesty office to immediately rescind the discriminatory policy that can further plunge the amnesty programme and the Niger Delta region into crisis. The students representatives posited that Professor Dokubo cannot claim not to know the students or have their information on the amnesty database and yet was able to find money to pay their school fees and accommodation fees running into hundreds of millions of naira without insisting on finding their names first on database, with UN code or not, cleared or uncleared. The students then appealed to the Professor to also apply the same policy in the payment of the stipends since all the students are under the same programme. They warned of the dangers that may arise if those students who are already frustrated and subjected to the angonizing and truamatizing situations in their schools are left to go back to the creeks in anger and hopelessness after getting to 200 and 300 level in their various courses.
Responding, Mr Murphy Ganagana insisted that there was an educational policy on ground that the SA must sign the admission letters of all amnesty students before they are deployed to schools. He accused the previous administration of sending students to schools through text messages instead of the letter. He went further to say that the budget of the amnesty office is already over stretched and so therefore, the ONLY SOLUTION was for the affected students to go back home to meet with their traditional rulers, senators, house of representatives members and other stakeholders to see how they can talk to lawmakers and the presidency to increase the amnesty office budget. He noted that since the other students names are not in the database, there is nothing that can be done.
Barrister Kayode Ajulo after informing the office on the need to settle the issue amicably to give the students a sense of belonging and to use the programme to sustain the vision of the Federal government in the Niger Delta region, towards peace, security and development, urged the amnesty office to do everything humanly possible to save the situation from taking a dangerous turn. He also questioned Mr Ganagana on the wisdom of paying all the students tuition fees and accommodation fees without paying all of them their stipends. Mr Ganagana responded by saying that because the SA was a "good father ” he decided to pay the tuition and accommodation fees of all the students instead of “throwing them out of the programme”
All the appeal by the students to reconsider the discriminatory payment of the statutory monthly stipends so that all the students will be able to continue to seek their dreams with the right support was turned down. The meeting was possible because Barrister Ajulo facilitated it as the amnesty office officials had barricaded the whole roads leasing to the office with heavily armed security personnel on getting wind of the decision of the agrieved students to visit their office. The insistance of the amnesty office that except the affected students go and talk to their traditional rulers, senators and house of representatives members there would be no solution, was a news that the students cannot bring home knowing fully well that it was not their responsibilities to do so but that of the man receiving salary as SA to the President, Professor Charles Dokubo.
On getting back to the hotel rooms, it was clear that the students must mobilize to the National Assembly to draw the attention of the lawmakers and Nigerians to the ugly situations they were facing in the hands of the Professor. The students also felt that since the amnesty office has asked the students to go and seek a political solution to their delima, the National Assembly was a right place to do so.
Day 3: 19th December, 2018.
Image may contain: 3 people, people smiling, crowd and outdoor
As early as 5am in the morning the Coalition members has taken a close position towards the gate of the National Assembly. Interestingly, security was visibly beefed up as President Muhhamadu Buhari was billed to address the National Assembly by presenting them with the estimates of the 2019 budget.
The students who gained entrance to the main gate were not MOLESTED nor HARRASSED by the various security personnel who were stationed strategically around all the entrance and exits of the Assembly. Rather they informed the protesting students that the assembly staff were on strike but were willing to cooperate with aggrieved students to see how they can get their messages across to the leadership of the Senate and House of Representatives. This was rather unusual from the security personnel and it was a very clear paradigm shift from what Nigerians expected under such situations especially with the president visiting. They were very supportive.
Image may contain: 2 people, people standing, hat, tree and outdoor
Four copies of the petition demanding that the National Assembly should investigate the activities of professor Dokubo and his sacking, was tendered. Journalists from different television, radio and newspaper organizations took copies of the petition and interviews were granted by the leadership of the Coalition to bring the country attention to the suffering of the students whose dreams and career were on the line of fire as a result of the divisive and discriminatory management of the amnesty programme under Dokubo. These interviews were conducted free of charge by the jounalists present.
Amnesty office Peace Building Committee arrived protest ground by 10:15am.
The news of protesting students demanding for justice and fairness on the payment of the stipends got to the amnesty office officials like a wide fire in an hammattan season. Jolted by this surprise protest and knowing fully well that the lawmakers and president Buhari and indeed the world attention would be focused on the National Assembly due to the high wired intrigues and politics that has been playing out towards 2019 general election, the peace builder committee was on top of their games once again to deceive and sweet talk the protesting students to leave the Assembly gate and proceed to the amnesty office for discussion. The students insisted that they will not vacate the place but can only send some respresentatives. The plot to also divide the students along ethnic lines was also futile. Sensing that the guard of honor from the presidency was coming into the premises and time was not on their side, the amnesty office Peace Building committee stylishly withdrew.
Ijaw militants invasion of protest ground.

When the peace buiding committee withdrew, with one Major Lelekumo, one or two boys dressed like some of the protesting students started engaging in one argument or the other that was making tempers to rise. Unknowing to the protesting students, these guys were spies sent ahead to the venue to size up the strength of the protesting students. Before the students could know what was happening, a fresh thugs of Ijaw militants has invaded the protest ground tearing the placards and asking the protesters “who told to come here to protest” pandamonium was let lossed as the aggrieved students put up a resistance.. The Ijaw students were roughly manhandled by the militants who beat them up and kicked them up and down. There was confusion everywhere as some were wounded badly. Some ran for cover when it became apparent that the thugs outnumbered the students. Security personnel and Nigerians present watched in astonishment as Ijaw youths, Itsekiri, youths, Ilaje youths, Ndokwa youths, Urohbo youths, Calabar Youths, Ikwere youths, Isoko youths, Ilaje youths etc were been beating by their own brothers from Niger Delta in front of cameras for choosing the legitimate way to express their displeasure over the unjust treatment by the Professor who also was from Niger Delta. Blood was flowing everywhere. It was shocking seeing the same Ijaw militants who from time to time block the East-West road in protest against similar marginalization brutalizing their own people who were only expressing their constitutional rights. It was such a shame to discover that those Ijaw militants could descend so low because of money given to them by Dokubo to act in such a disgraceful manner instead of joining their voices in asking for justice and fairness on behalf of their people. It must be stated that when the peace building commitee members saw that the thugs they had invited to unleash mayhem on the students had gotten the upper hand, they got into their vehicles and zoomed off from the Assembly complex after talking with the militants. Some of them also refused to participate in the discussion with the aggrieved students in their office claiming the protesters snubbed them when they came initially to pacify them. Ironically the peace building committee failed to realize that once bitten twice shy. This will not be the first time the peace building committee will be playing this kind of game with the students.
The specific attack on comrade Arubi Ajofotan Oporukun.
Image may contain: one or more people
When the militants invaded the venue, they were surprised by the resistance put up by some of the students depite their numbers. They noticed the fearlessness of the young man called Arubi Ajofotan. When they now asked him about his identity, he said, “I am an Itsekiri man and I won’t Deny my tribe but today am here not to fight for myself and tribe alone but for all Ijaw, Urohbo, Itsekiri, Calabar, and all the other students that this discrimination is affecting and will make many of them to return to crime” On hearing this, it was a like an evil spirit possessed the Ijaw militants who became more enraged. They kicked, butted, tore and continue to manhandle him. The scene was too horrifying as some of his fellow comrades rushed in to save the situation. He remains the hero of that events because even when people were asked to go to the amnesty office, while some stayed behind for security reasons and to strategize, he repeated the same statement in the presence of his attackers at the amnesty office.
Resolution at the amnesty office before departing.
It was resolved that a fresh letter be drafted to the SA Professor Dokubo to act in the best interest of the entire region and students future by giving all the students a sense of belonging by paying them their stipends. The danger and consequences of not doing so as it relates to the progress of the programme and the public image of the amnesty office was also highlited. The letter just like the ones sent to the National Assembly were duely delivered and acknowledged by all the various group to the meeting.
Rumors on certain people writing their names in amnesty office in Abuja to the exclusion of others.
It is totally false and must be disregarded as the handiwork of mischief makers to cause unnecessary rancour among the students. It is interesting to note that the whole purpose of paying some students and depriving others was an attempt to cause division among the students. It is an incontrovertible fact that amnesty students has somehow been treated as a different set of students by their self sponsored students. Professor Dokubo has succeeded in creating another division among the students by further segregating them into paid and unpaid students. It is therefore expected that those affected students will stop chasing shadows and focus their energies towards getting justice and fairness from the hands of their oppressors at the amnesty office through proactive discussions and unity of purpose.
Conclusion
The deprived students should understand that the oppressor of the Israelites did not just let them go out of Egypt. It took prayers, commitment and strong leadership with strong character in the person of Moses to take them from bondage. Haven’t said that, the students should prepare for the struggle to liberate themselves and their future from the current policy that is aimed at crippling their dreams and ambushing them on the road to the promise land. As they all look forward to a positive reply to their requests and petitions to be treated equally and justly by Professor Charles Dokubo by paying their stipends which will assist them in their educational pursuits to better their lives and Nation, they should make up their minds to be ready to keep fighting for their rights until victory is achieved even though it means going to Abuja countless times to confront the shameless Ijaw thugs who Professor Dokubo has paid their students stipends and given money to unleash mayhem and terror on their own people shamefully in Abuja. While the the students have put up a very good fight and brought the issues to the front burner of National consciousness, which has made the issue to go viral, the students should explore all reasonable avenues to take the problem to all who are capable of intervening on their behalf. All action calculated to bring division within the fold of the aggrieved students should be ignored so that together they can find a lasting solution to this unacceptable plan that makes a selected few happy and the majority sad and depressed. As the clock ticks towards the end of this year, newer and better strategies should be devised by the affected students so that they can put forward a stronger united front that will crush all oppositions to their demand for justice and fairness from the hands of Dokubo. Nothing less than this spirit of oneness is expected of the oppressed students
The struggle continues.

2019 Election: SDP Replaces Donald Duke’s Running Mate In Presidential Race

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has substituted the running mate of its 2019 presidential candidate, Donald Duke.

Donald Duke

Less than 24 hours after Dr Junaid Mohammed, the running mate to the presidential standard bearer of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Dr Donald Duke, stood down, the party has replaced him with its former national secretary, Shehu Gabam.

Mohammed reportedly said that he stepped aside because of “’so many hassles in the party.”

But in a statement, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Alfa Muhammad, explained that everything followed due process, adding that there was no rift between the party and Mohammed that led to his resignation as being rumoured by some people.

“Our attention has been drawn to trending news on the social media concerning the substitution of Dr Junaid Mohammed as vice presidential candidate of our great party, the SDP.
“His substitution was subjected to deliberation at the party’s leadership level which he took part in.
“Hence as a genuine party man, he voluntarily stepped down; and thereafter signed all the forms required by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to perfect the substitution process.”

Muhammad, however, added that Mohammed “remains one of the highly-respected leaders the party is proud to have.

“Meanwhile, the substitution which was done long ago now has Shehu Musa Gabam from the north-eastern part of the country as our vice presidential candidate,” he added.

OMG: Woman Who Has Not Had A Haircut In 28 Years Shows Off Her...

OMG: Woman Who Has Not Had A Haircut In 28 Years Shows Off Her Really Long Hair (Photos)

A lady who has not had a haircut in as many as 28 long years, has shown off her incredibly long hair.
Alena Kravchenko has been compared to Rapunzel thanks to her two metre-long mane

A real-life Rapunzel who has not had her locks trimmed since she was five-years-old, now boasts a two-metre long mane and even stars in Christmas shows as her alter ego.

But unlike the Grimms’ fairy tale character, Alena Kravchenko, 33, is a successful businesswoman and mother to six-year-old twins, Valeria and Miroslava.

And Alena, of Odessa, Ukraine, has revealed that the secret to keeping locks luscious is washing them no more than once every three weeks, adding: ‘I love my precious long hair and love taking care of it.

'But I don’t wash it very often, because I think that products are not good for it and can make it thinner and can stunt its growth.
'I like to be natural and the natural oils in your hair are what is best for it and help to preserve its glossiness.’

Alena, who runs a business organising children’s parties, also loves being compared to fairy tale heroine Rapunzel.

The businesswoman, now 33, last had a haircut when she was just five years old and it is her only one to date

She said: 'I usually like to keep my hair tied up in a bun, but when I let it down it does attract a lot of attention and people often take photographs and call me Rapunzel, which for me is a great honour.

'I think it makes me stand out and makes me unique - so I’m very happy if that’s how people see me.’

Having only been for a haircut once in her life, when she was five, Alena recalled her mum, Angela, 54, being a great believer that beautiful long hair was important for a woman.

'For as long as I can remember my mother would tell me that feminine beauty stems directly from a woman’s hair,’ she said.

'Over the years I realised that she was right, as there really is nothing more beautiful in the world than a woman with natural, flowing hair.’

She now plays her alter-ego in Christmas plays and says that she loves the comparison to the character. Pictured as Rapunzel

While she has occasionally trimmed the split ends on the ends of her hair herself, she has never allowed anyone else to cut it again, meaning Alena’s hair had grown half way down her back when she reached her teens.

When she moved into her 20s it reached her waist, then her knees - eventually touching the floor in her early 30s.

With her mane so long she has actually tripped over it, Alena usually wears it in a bun, or plait - literally, only letting her hair down either at weekends or on holiday.

'It’s now become a bit of a treat to let my hair down, because it is far more comfortable, as in a bun it can be quite heavy,' explained Alena, who met her husband Alexander 11 years ago in Odessa, marrying a year later.

'As my two children have grown older, I’ve had to start to tying it up more as well, because they like to play with it when it’s down and yank at it!’

And, while her hair no longer grows as fast, it is still gradually getting longer.

Alena says that she hopes her two daughters will share her love for long hair as they grow up

Alena continued: 'I don’t think it grows as quickly as it used to.

'I read recently that hair growth is a sign of physical and mental well-being, which - if it’s true - shows that I’m doing something right!’

Now, 28 years since she visited a hairdresser, Alena has no intention of going back, saying that her hair is her 'identity’ and without it she would not be herself.

'It makes me who I am - a unique woman, who clearly has a lot of dedication to the things she cares about,' she said.

'I am quite a humble person, but I love the way people look at me on the rare occasions I do let it down.

'I remember the first time my husband saw me with it down - which was maybe on the third or fourth date - and it came as quite a shock to him.

'But after he had got over the surprise, he saw how unusual and beautiful it was.’

Hoping to bring her daughters up with the same love of long locks, Alena has yet to cut Valeria or Miroslava’s hair, but says that they will be free to choose whether or not they want to spend the rest of their lives maintaining two-metre tresses.

'I’d like them to know that long hair is something beautiful and something to be proud of,’ she added.

'Hopefully, they will see in me how much pride I take from it and how much pleasure it has given me over the years.’

President Trump threatens to shut down US government if opposition congressional leaders fail to fund the border wall

President Trump threatens to shut down US government if opposition congressional leaders fail to fund the border wall
Can a President make such an arrogant and self-serving statement?
On Tuesday, President Donald Trump told Democratic leaders at the White House that he will shut down the US government because they refuse to approve billions of dollars in funding for his controversial Mexico border wall.

The president and top opposition congressional leaders were meant to hold a reassuring Oval Office photo-op. Instead, their blazing row in front of the world’s media gave a glimpse of the dire challenges confronting Trump as he reels from legal scandals and the new reality
of his Republican party no longer controlling Congress.

Chuck Schumer, the senior Democrat in the still Republican-dominated Senate, and Nancy Pelosi, who is likely to become speaker in the newly Democrat-controlled House in January, bluntly told Trump that he had no chance of getting the $5 billion he wants for the wall.

Then President Trump also doubled down on earlier threats to retaliate by refusing to sign a federal spending bill required by December 21 to avoid leaving swaths of the government without funding.

“Yes, if we don’t get what we want one way or the other, I will shut down the government. I am proud to shut down the government for border security” Trump said.

How she deals with men who disturb her daily because of her beauty and endowments, she said; “The most embarrassing ones are the guys that boldly advertise themselves to me. The are like ‘Hello ma, I’m good in bed! If you need a sugar son, I’m available.’

Exposed: Inside The Lagos Community Where Young Girls Are Forced...

Exposed: Inside The Lagos Community Where Young Girls Are Forced To ‘Entertain’ Men For N2,000

Investigation has exposed the community in Lagos state where young girls are made to entertain men at night for money.
One of the scenes of the dance show at daytime

Aisha, a 14-year-old girl, was sketching on the ground absentmindedly when a man (later identified as Usman) ordered her to go inside and get some rest ahead of the night’s show. Her employer calls himself the Kalulu specialist. To the locals, he is known as the organiser of erotic shows that parade teenage girls who dance sensuously to traditional music.

Aisha, one of the dancers was allegedly lured to Lagos from the north with a promise of a better life. Co-opted into the racy troupe she now regularly entertains male residents of the mushroom community located close to the Navy barracks, Oriade LCDA, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos. The neighbourhood, popularly known as Barracks Extension, is populated by northerners predominantly from Adamawa, Yobe and Kano.

They live in makeshift structures and the salacious entertainment provided by Usman and his ilk is one of the few pleasures that make their life bearable. Such kind of entertainment is reported gaining ground in northern communities across Lagos.

Usman’s troupe, Saturday Sun learnt, performs only at night. The event is a floating show with no fixed venue due to incessant raids by security agencies in the past.

The dancers who are clothed in their traditional attire perform erotic dances for their mostly-male audience, while the men in appreciation throw money at them. Those with a carnal interest in the dancers negotiate with their employers, and the girls, mostly teenagers, are obligated to have sex with whomever their masters recommend after the show.

We do not encourage child trafficking

In an interview with Saturday Sun, Usman shot down the allegation that the girls were lured into prostitution.

“They are here on their free will. We do not have any slave camp. They are free to run away anytime. Most of the girls here are divorcees looking for other sources of making money to train their children. We simply created an opportunity for women who are decently dressed to earn money through dancing.

“Many years ago, you could find little girls here, but since security agents raided some of our parties, they are not allowed. The youngest person that you will find here will be about 16 years old. These girls travel from the north to look for us. They beg for employment and anyone not up to 16 years will not be employed because we do not want any problem.”

On why he organises the show, he said: “Most of our people will love to relax but they can’t afford to walk into a regular clubhouse. Over here, with as little as N200, you can enjoy the show, which starts by 8 pm and ends latest 12 am. This is our own little way of relaxing after a hard day at work.”

Confronted with complaints that he rips off the girls by taking the lion share of the proceeds, Usman laughed and said, “I am the organiser and everyone that comes to the show is my customer. The said amount is like insurance, in case anything goes wrong. We have had cases where some of the girls stole from my customers. As expected, they came after me to help find the girls. I am a guarantor and I should be ready for any problem that might occur.”

Usman denied using the girls for prostitution: “I do not force these dancers to follow any of the customers. It’s their choice as adults.”

Our story

Aisha narrated to Saturday Sun how she ended as a dancer. Her parents were convinced by a relative to allow her travel to Lagos and work as a maid with an assurance that her employer will facilitate her going to school.

“My father has many wives and more than 40 children. He is a farmer and was finding it hard to feed us. If you don’t want to be married off to an old man, you have to find a reason to leave the house. My mother wanted me to go to school, that was why she allowed me to follow that man who is her relative to Lagos in 2016.

“When we arrived in Lagos, the relative handed me over to Usman and left. I was forced to dance and have sex with any man that my employer recommends. I have not seen that relative for the past two years.”

Continuing, Aisha insisted that her parents do not know what she has been doing in Lagos.

“They live in the village. There is no way I can get across to them except I travel to Yobe. I am sad because I have spent two years of my life dancing and sleeping with men but I cannot afford to travel back home. If I get pregnant, they will force me to remove it.

“I have tried severally to run. If I run away, in less than 24 hours, Usman will come to meet me wherever I am and pick me up. I always find myself in the house of someone who knows my employer. They know themselves and news spread fast in this area. I have resigned to my fate but I am praying to Almighty God to rescue me and send a man that will marry and protect me.”

Asked about the plan to further her education, Aisha replied unequivocally: “I don’t want to study. I just need a husband who will marry me before Usman renders me barren. I am 14 and ready for marriage.”

Another dancer, Maryam, aged 16, is not bothered she was forced to dance and sleep with men for money. “I am a big girl and old enough to be married. Most of my mates in the village are married with children. They rushed into marriage and today they are suffering. I am not ready. I want to build a life for myself and dancing will surely get me there.

“Most of my customers are rich businessmen. I know that one day, one of them will fall in love with me and decide to marry me.”

According to Maryam, she was initially working for one Sani but left when she discovered that she could not save a kobo. “There are many organizers in this area; you are free to work for any of them. The first person that employed me was Sani and he takes almost everything, so I stopped working for him. Luckily, I met Alhaji Musa who is also into entertainment but pays well. I have been able to save and send money to my parents in the village. His show is more organized and big men normally attend his dance party. A customer gave me this gold earring I am wearing. Sani would have collected it from me. He will sell it.”

Maryam debunked the rumour that she danced naked. “It is always at night, and we are allowed to wear our complete native outfit when dancing. It is so to avoid any problem because if any Imam should hear that we dance naked, they will attack and ask the police to arrest us.

“We dance to our native songs while our guests who are mostly men will dance and touch our bodies. If they can afford it, they will discuss with the organizer and any girl of their choice will spend the night with them.”

Another dancer, Esther, a Christian from Adamawa, like the others, was handed over by her family to Sani to take her to Lagos for a better life.

“I am 18 years. I came to Lagos six months ago. After my secondary education, it’s either I work and save money for university or I get married. I wanted to continue my education, that was why I agreed to follow Sani to Lagos. The agreement with my mother was that I would serve as a maid for a rich Hausa family and be paid N15,000 a month.

“The day he came to pick me, there were four other girls who also travelled down to Lagos with us. They told me that they were coming to Lagos for the same reason. When we got to Lagos, only one of us, Amina, was taken as a maid in Apapa. Sani told the rest of us to wait until there is a vacancy before we can be employed. I was disappointed and asked him to take me back to Adamawa where I had a roof over my head and feeding was not a problem. I was willing to be a farmer or learn a trade than to hang around doing nothing. At my age, I knew what will happen after spending days without a job.”

Just as she feared, two days later, Sani informed the remaining girls they would serve as entertainers during any northern event, Esther claimed.

“Two of the other girls, Jamilah and Halima were just 12 and 14 years respectively. I convinced them not to agree because they will soon be converted into prostitutes. When they revolted, Sani threw us out into the street at night. He threw us out around 10 pm when he knew it would be difficult to find help. We had no phone or money. We had a horrible experience. As we walked towards Kirikiri, to an area where many people from the north usually gather, some boys came out from nowhere and started chasing us. They caught us and beat us. We were dragged into a dark area and they raped us.

“We had to run back to Sani and begged him to take us back. I suspect that Sani hired those boys who raped us. This was how he converted us into dancers and if any of his customers can afford to pay, we are forced to sleep with him.”

Esther paints a picture of enslavement: “Sani collects the money and pays us peanuts. He claims that the money is used to pay for our rent and the expenses he incurred to transport us down to Lagos. So, we can hardly save any money.”

Customers recount 'beautiful’ moments

One of their customers, Mohammed told Saturday Sun that the girls were brought from the north to entertain them. “You must see such a gathering anywhere that people from the north are resident. You know that most of us who are Moslems cannot go to the regular club to have fun because our religion forbids it. It’s our own little club. They dress well but can dance very well. If you are lucky, you can pay their contractors to allow you to spend the night with them.”

According to Mohammed, a night is as expensive as N5000 out of which the girl will only be paid N2000.

“Their employer takes N3000 and give them N2000. If the girl satisfies you very well, you can pay her extra money. N5000 is for the whole night; if you want her for a few hours, you pay N2000.”

On the exact location, Mohammed said they were using a makeshift room close to Navy town until security agencies raided the place and shut it down.

“We no longer have a specific address; the man now arranges for a certain location and spread the news. We know ourselves, so it very easy to spread information anytime Sani decides to organize a party for us. Initially, we had a good location but the security men raided and Sani paid so much money before he was released. They accused him of using small girls for his business. Those girls, none of them is less than 12 years and they were not kidnapped. Most of them were chased away from their husband’s house while others lost their husbands during Boko Haram or Fulani herdsmen attack.

Such a gathering can be found in any area where our people are living. I have attended several in Agege and Mile 12 when I was staying in those areas. If we enter the regular club, they will maltreat us and if there is any fight we will be the first to be arrested.”

Another customer who gave his name as Peter could not hold his excitement. He said, “Kai, madam, you are free to come this night and enjoy the show with your oga. You have to hold him well because those small small girls can roll their waist.”

You mean that they dance n*ked?

No, said Peter.

“You are free to hold their waist when they are dancing and you can take them home if you can afford it. I am still single so these girls help some of us,” said Peter laughing and scratching his head in excitement.

Peter relocated to Lagos from Adamawa four years ago. He said: “I have to come to this area because this is where my village people are. It is easier to survive here. You can see that there are so many boys in this area. When the killings became too much, our parents had no choice but to send us away because we are always the target.”

Shock As S*x Video Tape Is Played As Evidence During Proceedings...

Shock As S*x Video Tape Is Played As Evidence During Proceedings In Lagos Court

A court sitting in Lagos state has played a s*x video tape between a married man and his ex during proceedings.
File photo

According to a report by Vanguard, proceedings in an Ikeja High Court took an unusual dimension on Monday when an excerpt of a s*x video tape between a married father of three and his ex-lover was played in the courtroom. The father of three, Peter Omokaro, is an ex-banker, while his ex-lover, Titilayo Nosa-Igiebor, is a businesswoman.

Omokaro who is in his early 60s had sued Nosa-Igiebor, 33, over her non-payment of an alleged N15 million loan he gave her during their relationship. The tape was played when Mr Victor Okpara, counsel to Nosa-Igiebor, led her in evidence.

The video which played for more than an hour showed Omokaro and Nosa-Igiebor lying in bed in a hotel room, agreeing to the terms of the `loan’ before engaging in s*xual intercourse.

Omokaro could be heard in the video, before signing the agreement, saying: “I hope I am not signing my death warrant.”

He was also heard telling Nosa-Igiebor that he had no intention of getting the loan back. The defendant’s counsel tendered a copy of the loan agreement in evidence.

The counsel told the court that Clause Five of the agreement exempted Nosa-Igiebor from repaying the alleged loan because of their sexual relationship.

Clause Five of the agreement, which pertains to waiver of rights, states: “Peter, forever waives all rights to loan payback, forfeiting totally loan given if Titilayo agrees to and has s*xual intercourse with Peter.”

Earlier in her evidence, the defendant told the court that Omokaro never gave her the N15 million although he promised to give her without collecting it back. The businesswoman testified that Omokaro became vindictive after their relationship turned sour. She told the court that the ex-banker intended to punish her for the soured relationship by taking her to court.

While being cross-examined by Mr Jerry Omoregbe, counsel to Omokaro, the defendant testified that besides being Omokaro’s lover, she had a business relationship with him through her company, Tilimanjaro Nig. Ltd. and Nichole Integrated Ltd. (Omokaro’s company).

“Tilimanjaro was my first company. I had no prior experience; I was still setting up at the time. I went to meet Peter, my boyfriend at the time, to assist me in giving my brother, Ahmed, money for aviation school.
“Peter, my boyfriend, said that he would give me the money as a gift and that we should draft an agreement so that my brother could see that it was serious and take his schooling serious.
“He invited me to the hotel as shown in the video. He agreed that I should make the agreement, and I drafted the agreement in my letterhead. The agreement was between Peter Imafidon Omokaro and Titilayo Nosa-Igiebor.
“The friendly loan was never given to me. That agreement was signed on May 15, 2011, which was a Tuesday. He said he would pay the money into my brother’s account on Thursday but he never did,” she said.

Justice Raliatu Adebiyi adjourned the case until Feb. 20, 2019, for adoption of written addresses. Omokaro had accused Nosa-Igiebor of stealing his Toyota Venza 2010 model with registration number CT370FKJ valued at N2 million as well as N106 million.

Nosa-Igiebor was initially arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court in Lagos in April 2012 and remanded at the Kirikiri Prisons following her failure to meet her bail conditions. The former lovers later agreed to settle their dispute out of court, with Nosa-Igiebor returning the car and other property given to her by Omokaro during their relationship.

However, Omokaro instituted a civil suit against Nosa-Igiebor before an Ikeja High Court following her failure to refund the alleged N15 million loan. He had submitted that he gave the defendant the loan as a business partner and not a lover.

The ex-banker also told the court that the loan was not a gift but meant to be paid back.

Why I Posed Half-N*ked For My 40th Birthday Photo-shoot -...

Why I Posed Half-N*ked For My 40th Birthday Photo-shoot - Actress, Wuragold Opens Up

Nollywood actress, Adediwura Adelugba widely known as Wuragold has spoken out about why she had a half-n*ked photo shoot for her birthday.
Wuragold

Dark, bold and beautiful actress, Adediwura Adelugba aka Wuragold has starred in movies like Closet, Lizard, Deep Heart and Bile among others. In this chat with Entertainer, the single mum of one opens up on how she got into the motion picture industry, the birth of her foundation and why she held a semi-n*de photo shoot to commemorate her 40th birthday recently.

How did you come into acting?

I got introduced to the industry through a marketer I met through a sister of mine a couple of years back and then I was invited for an audition. Luckily I was offered the lead role and ever since I’ve never looked back.

What inspired your foundation Giving is Fun?

I’d say I got the inspiration from my mum. Being a widow she went through hell training her kids. And besides, naturally, I love to give; I enjoy it because it gives me inexplicable joy! So in all I would say I feel fulfilled whenever I give because I feel God’s using me to touch lives.

What’s happening between you and your friends, Liz Da-Silva and Regina Chukwu? We have noticed that there’s a change in your friendship with them?

All I can say is that we’re still very cool as friends.

If not acting, what would you have been?

Maybe a musician (laughter). You see, I love to sing as much as I love acting. However, I’m very busy working on my NGO and asides that, I also market designer clothes, perfumes and accessories.

How do you handle your male admirers?

Very simple! I appreciate them with a big thank you whenever they pay me a compliment.

You’re gorgeous! How would you describe your style?

Style is being simple but classy. I hate it when there’s a lot on my body. Sometimes, I could decide to be dramatic and that’s when you see me in bum shorts or micro skirts and I also like revealing my cleavage.

How do you cope with acting and motherhood?

It used to be very challenging but I’ve grown up. I can assure you that I’m coping very well.

Your 40th birthday shoot sent tongues wagging, what inspired the semi-n*de pictures?

Wow! Are you serious! Well, I just wanted to be extremely dramatic so I decided to drop the banger of a photo shoot! I wanted my 40th birthday to be unforgettable.

Can you act semi-nude or nude for a million dollars?

A million dollars is not a lot of money. Hopefully, I should be able to go semi-nude after all, I did it for my birthday shoot and I wasn’t paid a dime!

Are you living the life of your dreams?

Not really but I’m still grateful and contented.

What project are you working on at the moment?

I’m working on a documentary entitled Widow’s Story.

What should your fans watch out for coming from you?

They should watch out for my signature all over the world by God’s grace.

Could you appreciate your fans in a sentence?

I love you all and God bless you.

I am Mr Adrian O. Edema, the founder of the Gric Coin Project. A Graduate Of Birmingham City Univetsity Uk and University Of Wales.
Question 2;
Tell us what the African Agricultural system looks like currently.
Reply; The African Agricultural Industry employs about 70% of Africans. A big number of these are small farm holders. They own farm of about 1 acres in size.
Most of these farmers are very poor. They don’t have the finance to expand their business.
Most of the crops they plant are sold out to big businesses at just marginal profit because they can’t process their produce to finish products.
The Agricultural system is been plagued by lack of standardisation, food fraud, lack of finance and so many other issues
Question 3;

How can I invest in Gric Coin and what is the minimum amount I can buy?
Reply; Ojumude Tosan Bishop anyone can invest as long as they have access to the internet.
We don’t have a minimum investment.
Question 9;
What is the difference between Gric Coin and MMM?
Reply; That is a good question. Let me deal on MMM first.
MMM is a Ponzi Scheme
A Ponzi scheme is a form of fraud which lures investors and pays profits to earlier investors by using funds obtained from more recent investors. Investors may be led to believe that the profits are coming from product sales, or other means, and remain unaware that other investors are the source of profits.
There is no one that participated in the program that can tell us what their money was used for and at the point of payment they where not handed anything of equivalent to their Payment.
MMM is a scam from day one.
Gric Coin is an actual project.
You are not investing into the project at the point of purchase.
At purchase you are buying our GC token. When you pay we give you the token that is of same value with your money.
This token can be sold by you in exchange on a later date to get back your cost and the difference in price between what you bought it and what it is at the day you are selling.
As for us we will use the money we collected to set up real business.
Anyone can visit the the farm to see what we are doing.
You can see that Gric Coin and MMM is something different completely.
Moderator; Thanks for everyone that took part one way or the other.
