We Are Not With Buhari’s Original Copies Of Certificates — Army

Buhari

Few days after the former Head of State and Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Major General Muhammadu Buhari, retd, explained in an affidavit submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, that all his academic credentials were with the Military Board, the Army have stated that they do not keep the certificates of any serving or retired officer or soldier.

General Buhari is contesting the presidential election for the fourth time under different political parties including the defunct All Nigeria People’s Party, ANPP and the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, but the issue of his qualifications had never been controversial until the ruling Peoples

Democratic Party, PDP, recently described him as a ‘’semi- illiterate.’’

Vanguard reports that however, against the backdrop of Buhari’s affidavit in court, a military source said ‘’that the Army can not keep anybody’s original certificate because it is the personal property of the owner,’’ adding that such original certificates were only needed at the point of entry into the service.

According to the source, the Military only kept photocopies of credentials of officers and soldiers in their personal files that were in the military secretary’s office.

“The original certificate of any officer or soldier is only needed at the point of entry into the service either as a cadet officer entering the Nigerian Defence Academy, or the recruitment officers when interviewing recruits to be sent to the depot for training. That is so, because they are needed to verify what were in the photocopies supplied by them or from the necessary examining bodies.”The source further stated that anybody claiming that his original certificates were with the Military Secretary (Army), had ‘’ulterior motive(s) or something he or she cannot explain.’’

He further added:

“Let me tell you now, in the Navy, the Navy Secretary, NAVSEC, keep the documents of all Naval officers and ratings and not their original certificates which are their personal property.

See what a man did to his uncle after he found him raping his girlfriend

00000

This is what happened to a South Carolina man after he was caught red-handed allegedly raping his nephew’s girlfriend in a bedroom at a home in Conway, South Carolina on Thursday January 1st.

The nephew, whose identity is being kept from the media, reportedly found 52-year-old William Mattson (pictured above) on top of his girlfriend and he responded by beating the heck out of him. You can see the result of the brutal beat down in the suspect’s mugshot.

The man then pushed his uncle out of the house and called police. Mattson was arrested but the nephew was not charged over the incident. The police said he was “acting in defense for the victim.”

The uncle is now facing charges related to the alleged sexual assault.

Her little guys are here! Zoe Saldana and husband Marco Perego have welcomed twin boys, the actress’ rep exclusively confirmed toUs Weekly on Friday, Jan. 2.

“Actress Zoe Saldana and her husband, artist Marco Perego, have welcomed twin boys, Cy Aridio and Bowie Ezio Perego-Saldana,” the statement read. “They were born Thursday, November 27th in Los Angeles. Mother and sons are happy and healthy. Zoe and Marco are so grateful to all of the fans for their incredible support and beautiful wishes. The family is also appreciative of the respect of their privacy during this exciting time. Thank you!”

The proud new mom also shared an update on her family via Twitter.

The actress followed her Tweet with an Instagram post about her sons. “Our boys CY and BOWIE are finally here,” the Avatar star wrote alongside a photo of two identical Comotomo baby bottles embellished with plush toys. “#marcoperego and I wanted to thank you for your beautiful wishes and for your patience.

Us broke news last July that Saldana, 36, and her Italian artist beau, 35, were expecting. After several red carpet appearances, Saldana addressed her pregnancy for the first time during an ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in August. In September, her former Crossroads costar Britney Spears spilled the beans that Saldana was eating for three.

The Center Stage star stayed upbeat during her pregnancy, even revealing that she split her pants while carrying her sons. (She pole danced too!) She discussed possible baby names during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Oct. 17.

“My husband is very Italian and I’m very Latina so every day we have messages from our parents, ‘Oh it should be Rocko, Giovanni, Luigi, Antonio Ramon Jose.’ And you’re like, ‘Oh my god, people chill, chill,'” she teased. “We’re kind of hippie…we just want them to be healthy.”

Healthy and multilingual. “Of course [our children] will speak the languages that we speak; my sisters and I grew up learning French and speaking English and Spanish, and because of that, we’re able to understand Italian and Portuguese,” Saldana said for Cosmopolitan of Latinas’September 2014 issue. “But I’m going to have to make a conscious effort to speak Spanish to my children, because I speak Spanglish.”

Very popular Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev Fr. Ejike Mbaka is currently under serious fire. Let me explain what’s going on. In early November, First Lady Patience Jonathan was in Enugu to attend the 2014 Adoration Thanksgiving And Bazaar event where Fr. Fast forward to January 1st and he’s singing a different tune. He’s now saying ‘GEJ must go!” Screaming ‘we want change’.

“When the Goodluck met the Yar’adua, the Yar’adua had badluck and died. Before we knew it, when the Goodluck met our oil, our oil had bad luck and poured away. Before we knew it, Goodluck met our naira, our naira had a bad luck. Where are we going in this country, shall we continue to experience the bad luck?” He said on Jan. 1st

Why Today’s Youth Are Termed Young Skeptics

Young people are less supportive of the welfare state than their parents, more likely to believe that people should look after themselves, and less trusting of their neighbours, a Government report has found.

In what is described as ‘a clear generational shift’, those who grew up under Margaret Thatcher and John Major are more ‘individualist’ and appear to be more cynical and more suspicious that the benefits system is being abused.

The Cabinet Office findings indicate that individualism is the most pronounced among Generation Y, those born after 1980 into the early 2000s.

The report stresses that this trait does not mean those in their 20s and early 30s are more selfish than older generations because they are just as likely to value the welfare of others.

While the shift in attitudes could be good news for the Conservative Party, which hopes to combat the benefits culture, and bad news for Labour, which promotes the welfare state, Generation Y are less likely to vote, according to the findings.

The wide-ranging report also found:

- Children are set to live with their parents for longer;

- Political engagement among the young is set to decline further, with even fewer voting in elections;

- There will be a slow decline of religious identification, pushing us further towards a secular society;

- Grandparents could increasingly be called on to look after young children – as they are expected to stay in the workplace for longer;

- There could be a future of less-secure jobs for the young – but there are signs that many have reacted to the economic crash by becoming more entrepreneurial than their forebears;

- For some, the effect of the internet and the prevalence of technology could have a ‘negative impact’.

The study concluded that while there was much to be positive about, ‘there are also potential concerns, for instance around declining mainstream political engagement, low levels of social trust and the potential negative impacts of digital technologies’.
