Exposed: Political Deceit of Deltans and The Presidency

What a show of shame and a crown of embarrassing defeat for the Governor of Delta State as the "Ubeji Road Block Saga" unfolds with various comments of dislikes and a vote of no confidence passed by the people of Ubeji ....the story unfolds :

The governor of one of the most oil rich states in Nigeria, Dr Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan who has been parading himself on national TV station as one of the best governors after buying himself numerous awards since his appointment into office.


Dr Uduaghan who is a native of Itsekiri minority group of Delta state hails from the popular oil rich town of Ugborodo community, Escravos which generates most of the state's funds. But it is unfortunate that the governor is lost and can't remember his grass-root.


Reports have it that the so called Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan is living on a past glory from the projects executed by the former governor of the state, Chief James Onanefe Ibori who is his cousin. Continue...

As it was told, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan has not really done anything meaningful to the Itsekiri's since he assumed office in 2007 and even to the village he came from. I was told that whenever President Goodluck is to be in Delta state, he will organize and repair all the bad roads in popular areas that the President will notice just to make sure he does not miss the seat to become a house of rep member after his tenure as governor of the state expires.


Uduaghan has been fond of mobilizing tractors and place them at strategic locations to deceive President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan anytime he is paying the state a visit just to make the president believe he is working round the clock. Of which as the President is leaving the state, Uduaghan returns the tractors back to wherever he brought them from without carrying-out any constructions works.


The so-called Governor dubiously award contracts to members of his cartel of which they would later abandon the project, share the funds and then take false photographs to the media (AIT, Channels TV) to create false awareness in order to fool Deltans in Diaspora and all Nigerians which I strongly stand against.


Here are some pictures of the road linking Ubeji and Ekpan close to the popular Warri refinery. This road project which was awarded to Chief Ayiri Emami (a member of Uduaghan caucus) has been under construction for almost eight years and the present condition of the road is nothing to write home about. The poor action of state government towards issue of the road has caused angry residents excavate a part of the road in order to draw attention of the federal government. No going out, No coming in.
