The police in Lagos state is on the trail of 27-year-old man, Emmanuel Eghaghe, for beating his mother to death because she allegedly refused to give him a sum of N20,000.
Acciording to reports, Emmanuel had visisted his 61-year-old mother, Helen, at her shop on Jinadu Street, Ajangbadi, Lagos State, on July 6, 2018 and asked her to give him pocket
money which she refused to.He got angry and went violent on her. He started to harrass her and whilst he was struggling with her purse, slammed her head on the wall in the shop. She had a deep cut on her head and her mouth was gushing out blood. Seeing how badly injured his mother was, Emmanuel immediately fled the scene.
Narrating how the incident happened, a resident in the area who spoke with Punch, said
“The sister of the suspect has a hotel in the community. He gave their mother a room in the hotel. She also opened a shop for the woman in front of the hotel. On that day, the suspect approached his mother and asked her to give him N20,000 pocket money. The woman said she did not have that kind of money. He pushed her to the wall and broke her head in the process. There were bloodstains everywhere and the woman eventually died in a hospital. He ran away immediately and has yet to be found. His sister was abroad and she was planning to relocate him there. A resident informed the woman’s brother and he travelled to Lagos from Benin. I was surprised why a child would do such a cruel thing to his mother’“.
Also speaking, the brother of the deceased, Friday, called him to inform him of thr gruesome murder
“Around 11am that day, somebody called me with my mum’s (Helen’s) phone number and said somebody wanted to kill her. When I asked the person what the problem was, she cut the call. I called back, but she did not pick her calls. It was a little girl that was staying with her who later picked the call and told me that my mum had been killed. I left Benin immediately for Lagos. It was the woman who brought me up. Emmanuel was the fifth and the last child of the family. One of them lives in Benin here while others live abroad. I didn’t know why he killed her.”
Confirming the incident, the Lagos state police command’s spokesperson, Chike Oti, said the command is now on the trail of the suspect
“The police got a report that the suspect hit his mother’s head against the wall in an attempt to get money from her forcefully. As a result, she became unconscious and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. She gave up the ghost at the hospital. The suspect is now at large. Detectives visited the scene and deposited the corpse at the Isolo General Hospital mortuary for autopsy. A manhunt for the suspect is being intensified.”

Today, President Buhari explained that he declared his intention to contest the 2019 Presidential election early in order to douse rising speculations in the country. He also said the decision was to give the All Progressives Congress (APC) enough time to prepare for the polls.
The president offered this explanation when he received members of the Buhari Support Group Centre (BSGC) at the State House, Abuja. According to him, speculations are
already constituting distraction to governance and stirring unnecessary tension in the country. “I had to announce before the National Executive Committee of our party about my intention to ask for the party’s nomination for next year’s election so that we can save a lot of time and cool tempers.A lot of people were trying to make it a habit of being a nuisance to themselves and many Nigerians, so when I came out I said those who are serious let them come out. And I tried to make sure that the party is organised and consolidated so that we start from the bottom to the top, he said.
The president said early declaration guaranteed more participation within the party and further strengthened the bond with supporters and Nigerians. He noted that God’s divine intervention and the use of technology during the 2015 elections exposed the weakness of previous processes where a privileged few sat and allocated figures to constituencies during elections.
“They just sit and look at a constituency and they award the numbers, then they say anybody who disagrees should go to court; Now for somebody who is looking for the next meal where does he get money to pay Senior Advocates of Nigeria? Thank God for technology, with the PVC you know where you registered and it can be shown whether you voted or not,’’ the president said.
He therefore advised Nigerians to get their voters card for the 2019 elections and ensure that they vote to please their conscience with pride as citizens.

South African police officers to face trial for killing Nigerian
Some South African police officers in the coming weeks will be arraigned for allegedly killing a 25-year-old Nigerian, Ibrahim Olalekan-Badmus, in 2017.
The Nigerian Mission in South Africa in an interview today said that the officers were implicated in the killing. The Nigeria’s Consul General in South Africa, Godwin Adama, said through a telephone from Johannesburg that the South African authority had confirmed that
investigation into the murder case was almost concluded.“Badmus, a native of Lagos was brutally murdered by the South African Police on Oct. 10, 2017 at vanderbidjk park, South Africa. Police officers implicated in the murder will be charged to the High court any moment from now,” he said.
Police officers were alleged to have stormed the home of Badmus, an undergraduate at Vaal University of Technology in Vanderbijlpark in South Africa, with claims that he was trafficking drugs. However, when the police searched his home, they could not find any drug in it. They allegedly asked the deceased for money and when he could not give them money, they handcuffed him and used excessive pepper spray on him. He passed out and died due to suffocation Adama said that the case was classified as high profile because of the tension generated by the development as some Nigerians who had confrontation with the police almost took laws into their hands.
The Consul General said that on hearing of the development immediately rushed to the scene where he interfaced with the aggrieved Nigerians and the police to calm frayed nerves.
“I led a delegation from the mission to visit the scene on receipt of the information. When we arrived at the scene, the place was tensed up because Nigerians there were not happy. We immediately met with the Station Commander in the area with some selected Nigerians. The police assured that a thorough investigation would be carried out and that the culprit would be brought to book,” he said.
He said that the authority arrested the police officers that perpetrated the crime and commenced investigation. Adama said that the mission had followed up the case and it was clear that investigating authorities had done a very thorough job as promised. He stressed that the authorities had said that the suspects would be charged to court any moment from now.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, had expressed worry over the killings of Nigerians in South Africa. Dabiri-Erewa stated that no fewer than 117 Nigerians were extra-judicially killed in South Africa between 2013 and 2018 for one flimsy reason or the other.

In one of the photos she posted, which was taken on the second day after the removal of the silicone injections, the mother of one explained her journey after undergoing the surgery.

If you’re new to my journey & just don’t know what’s going on, This was 2 days after removal of silicone injections & Doc attempt to do reconstruction at same time, I was in surgery for over 6 hours & lost massive amounts of blood & had to get 3 blood transfusions. If you look at the Red/purple area that’s forming in the Center of my Butt That’s where necrosis developed due to LACK of BLOOD FLOW. I did NOT have necrosis or life-threatening issues prior to removal. Necrosis Was then removed on 1/31. ?I received (butt shots/hydrogel injections) back 2010 after experiencing PPD & making a mistake I’ll later came to regret & sought to correct. From this day forward I experienced EVERY single complication that could happen along with nearly dying after surgery. My Hemoglobin was below 5?? Thank you @murrrogers for being with me

Legendary South African musician Ali Katt has died at the age of 60 after a lengthy illness.
Family spokesperson Jacky Mathala said the singer’s heath had deteriorated since he suffered a stroke about four years ago. “He was an active person until he was hit by the stroke. That was when he started slowing down,” Mathala said.
Ali Katt (was born in the Johannesburg township of Alexandra. He started preforming in the
1970s and in 1979 began singing for The Minerals. He later met singer Godfrey Nzuza who helped him launch his solo career.He made a name for himself with ‘Let the Good Times Roll’ which featured on his 1987 debut album Have Mercy. In 1988 he released Killer, a tribute to the conjoined Mathibela twins. The album featured the hit ‘Liar’.
After taking a long break from making music, he made a comeback with Ali Katt and Biggs duet and the album Township Boy. The singer’s memorial service will be held in Tembisa, Johannesburg, on Thursday while his funeral is planned for Saturday. The musician is survived by his sister and two children.

“While others mainly supply women for the satisfaction of men, we do the reverse. Whichever specification of men you need to make you happy in bed, we have them. Communication on the type of man needed and other issues like payment is always discreet. Everything is done through the telephone while the client does not necessarily need to come to this place. As part of our mode of operation, we do not give out rooms here for clients to be attended to; we run a ‘takeaway’ service, so they are expected to meet at a hotel of choice of the customer.“Our clients need not be scared about the possibility of being blackmailed because all our guys are well-trained and are not allowed to communicate directly with the women needing their services. They are not also availed of the identity or contact number of the client, so the chance of such happening is very remote.“The type of service to be rendered by our guys depends on how much the client can afford. Our charges are reasonable and negotiable but the standard fee for an entire night service is N40, 000.“Before any client pays, she must have selected from a number of photos of our guys that we send through the Internet. The lady manager said undergraduates make up the large number of male sex workers that help bring happiness to many of the city’s rich and horny females.

Patty said she has no idea how the men are selected. An email from the owner listed the sexual activities provided to any customer.
“We offer very sensual massages where you and the masseuse are completely naked in full body-to-body oily or soapy massage. It can be at our spa or wherever you desire. Two hours with happy ending with oily or soapy massage goes for N35,000 and N40,000 separately. We’re friendly, liberal and not judgmental at all.Therefore, no matter your sexual orientation or secret desires, you are very welcome. Just let us know how to please you better. Due to the sensitive nature of our services, the privacy and safety of our clients and personnel are of highest importance to us.“However as clients, we ask that you help us by insisting and ensuring that immediately the personnel walks in, his phone is switched off. If a personnel arrives and for some reason you are uncomfortable with the person or the identity of the person, just cancel. Ask them to leave and then call the office. A charge of N8,000 is made for inconvenience. Lastly, please keep the business and service discreet. A secret between us, not to be shared or disclosed,” an email from the owner read
