Ugborodo crisis: Tonwe begs military to save his people

WARRI—The factional leader of Ugborodo community in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, Mr. David Tonwe, has called on the Federal Government to be proactive, and not treat any security breach in Ugborodo with kid gloves.
Speaking to Vanguard in Lagos,  Tonwe said that the whole of Ogidigben axis in Ugborodo, during the week, was subjected to series of bombardments with high calibre arms and ammunition, with inhabitants forced to flee into the swamp.
He said: “I left for Abuja on Monday on the invitation of one of the branches of the military institutions, which has put in much efforts to find solution to the crisis in Ugborodo. We had the scheduled meeting for Tuesday and left the venue by 2p.m. It was at 8p.m., that I started receiving calls from my people that had fled into the swamp and were calling on me to inform government that Ogidigben had been invaded by armed groups and the uniformed personnel on ground were allowing the invaders to have a free day.”
He blamed the security agencies in the area for looking the other way, while a community was being subjected to armed attack with unspecified numbers of persons either injured or fleeing into the swamp.
He explained that “as at now, I cannot give any concrete information, but to appeal to security officers in the area to come to the rescue of my people, who are now being driven from their lands.”

Tonwe appealed to the high command of both the Nigerian Navy and Police to direct their personnel on ground to be professional and neutral, particularly in preventing further armed invasion of the commnity.

Creepy! Prophet oredicts Ghanaian celebrities who will die(List Includes Yvonne Nelson,Nadia Buari).

This is really creepy....
Prophet Samuel Baffour of El Shaddai Prayer Center made a shocking claim on Channel R- 92.7FM’s ‘205’; by giving a list of Ghanaian entertainers who may face death, the cause and nature of their death.
He said God gave him the revelation and  he and members of his church are praying to salvage the lives of these celebrities but he cautioned all of them to pray without ceasing if indeed, they want to live.He failed to mention the names of the people who are plotting to kill the entertainers saying

“It is a security matter so, I cannot mention the names; but if these people come to see me, I will reveal the names of the plotters to them individually,”

WASHINGTON (AP) — Casting Barack Obama as a president run amok, the House voted on Wednesday for a bill that would expedite congressional lawsuits against the chief executive for failure to enforce federal laws.

The vote was 233-181 in the Republican-led House as GOP lawmakers excoriated Obama for multiple changes to his 4-year-old health care law, steps he's taken to allow young immigrants

Six simple home remedies to heal cuts

Six simple home remedies to heal cuts

1. Turmeric powder: With its high antiseptic properties, dabbing a generous amount of turmeric powder on a fresh cut will help stop the oozing of blood and also prevent infections.
2. Apple Cider Vinegar: With its anti-itching properties, Apple Cider Vinegar is a good option to heal wounds.
3. Sugar: The excessive intake of sugar may be harmful to your body but the same granulated sugar can actually work wonders on your wound. It absorbs the water present in the wound. Sprinkle it on the affected area, but make sure you clean the wound in the next 15 minutes.
4. Honey: Honey acts as an antibacterial agent on superficial cuts and wounds. It helps clean the wound, prevent further infection as well as reduce the swelling. According to various studies, burns treated with honey healed, on average, in 11 days, which was four days earlier than burns treated without it
5. Aloe vera gel: Easily available at chemists, apply this gel directly on the wound. If there is a plant near by, remove the thorns and cut the leaf vertically in half. Gently rub in the gooey part on the wound.
6. Tea bags: As a mild astringent, tea bags help heal cuts, bites and sty. Applying it on the wound also helps to stop the blood flow.

THE SHREWD EXCLUSION OF ITSEKIRI ETHNIC NATIONALITY FROM THE 2014 NATIONAL CONFAB:

By Robinson Ariyo

We today welcome you all to another press briefing. Not too long ago, we had one, at which we decried the senseless killings of our brothers and sisters in the creeks by attackers identified to be Ijaw militia.
While we elected to pursue that in a civilized manner, we are still waiting for the wheel of justice to grind to a halt.
Today, barely 8 (Eight) months later we have again called on you to register yet another blow delivered below our belt; the difference on this occasion is that this is not coming from the Ijaw militia, but as you might presently be able to judge, it is coming from the Presidency and most likely with the conspiracy of the Governor of Delta State.
Let us be quick to respond here to those who will want to say that the Governor of Delta State is an Itsekiri man. Our response is that we should remember that the same Governor has not
