Chris Hemsworth Named People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive 2014

31-year-old new dad and Thor actor, Chris Hemsworth has been selected as People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2014 according to public votes.

The cutest part is that when asked what the sexiest thing in the world was to him in his accompanying People Magazine interview, Chris Hemsworth said it was his wife, 38-year-old Elsa Pataky. He adds that he would rather be home in Australia, where he and wife recently bought a home for their family than anywhere else in the world.

When asked what he would do with his new title as sexiest man alive, the father of three - 2 year old daughter India, and twins Sasha and Tristan, 8 months - said he’s probably going to use it to get out of diaper duty for the next couple of weeks.


“I think you’ve bought me a couple of weeks of bragging rights around the house. I can just say to her, ‘Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don’t need to do the dishes anymore, I don’t need to change nappies. I’m above that. I’ve made it now’.”
He however gushed over being a father, saying the best part of fatherhood is getting to be “a big kid again,” and he loves how he shares traits with his children saying his oldest daughter has the “same swagger” as him when she walks.

Hemsworth also reveals that he sleeps in the nude and jokes that his title comes a few years too late, adding that he hit his peak a few years ago and says he’s not sure he still deserves it.

He says his brothers are going to give him a hard time over the new title, and says the whole thing is laughed about behind the scenes.
