If You Are Walking by Sight...

2 Cor. 5:7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.

what you see or hear will discourage you.

If you are experiencing trouble in your marriage, it is easy to get discouraged, especially if you are walking by sight. (What you are seeing or hearing will most definitely discourage you).

when everything seems wrong, when you get yourself into those perplexing circumstances in life and when the enemy is only one step behind you, just put your trust in LORD. Don't give up let God himself fight your battle.

Be encouraged in His word and promises. He is faithful. He being the Lord God Almighty will
not let you go beyond what you can handle. You may be going through the hardest trial of your life but the LORD will meet all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus. When you fully trust in the Lord, you are casting your cares upon Him.

You are not worried about your problems. You are able to praise and bless Him no matter what you are going through. When you seek the Lord and search for him with all your heart, you shall find the Lord (Jeremiah 29:13).

As you draw near to God through prayer, He will draw near to you. If you are worried and feel like you are at the end of yourself, cast all your cares, burdens on the Lord. When you rely on God, He begins to strengthen you.

Here is what the scripture says, "The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in him." – Nahum 1:7 and "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof." – Psalms 46:1-3

If you are discouraged by all you are hearing or seeing, don't give up. Look to the Lord for comfort. He will always deliver.

I am encouraging you today to walk by faith and not by sight. No matter the negative, don't lose heart, because God is at work in your situation, in spite of all the hurt, pain and dis-satisfaction.

Your spouse is deceived, but God is still able to work, even out of deception. Remember, God ways are not our ways. God is able to use the foolish things of this world to confound the wise.

Having to deal with a wayward spouse is not easy and will easily cause discouragement. Your physical eyes confirm this. But by faith you call out to God whom you trust to be there for you. The Lord will intervene to give you the timely healing or provides the grace to go through it.


Today my friends, if you want to please God, you need to walk by faith and NOT by sight. This will please Him.
