[marriagerestoration] Hope Thou In The Lord!!

1. Hope Thou In The Lord!!

Hope Thou In The Lord!!Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." "Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance [face]" (Psalms 42:5, 11; 43:5). Hope is the thing that keeps us going. We sing the hymn "We Thank Thee, O God, for a Prophet" all the time, but do we listen to the words? What do you feel when you sing "We all have trials and difficulties. Some self inflicted others inflicted upon us. Paul knew that the temptation during difficulties is to complain and give up, so he wrote to the church in Rome to encourage them during their time of persecution.

My friends, you can't allow your feelings to determine your future. Every great thing that God has for you is activated in your life when you choose to live with expectancy and hope. Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that You are the God of hope. Thank You for the encouragement of this scripture. Help us to persevere and feed on Your Word until hope grows stronger in us, in Jesus' name, Amen.I pray with Paul "that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints" (Ephesians 1:18). It will be worth the wait. Psalm 20:1-5 "May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you; May He send you help from the sanctuary,And strengthen you out of Zion; May He remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice. May He grant you according to your heart's desire, And fulfill all your purpose. We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the LORD fulfill all your petitions."

No matter how dismal things appear, no matter how problem-prone we seem to be, no matter what reversals and setbacks we suffer, there is always hope. Hope is a strong word, but the true strength of its meaning starts from within. If you have hope, you have the power of facing any challenge. I pray and intercede for each of you daily. Thanks very much in advance for your support.Be encouragedPastor Doreen
