Boko Haram Militants Storm Female Judge's Residence In Borno

A top female judge (names withheld) was reported to have escaped Boko Haram's bullets by the whiskers when gunmen suspected to be the sect members stormed her residence at the G.R.A, in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, on Thursday.

It was learnt that the incident happened in the evening when some young men came looking for the judge at about the time she normally returned home from office. The gunmen arrived the residence in a gulf car, and one of the judge's aides who was already speaking with her on phone sensed danger when he discovered that the young men were carrying guns and warned her not to come home.

The men were said to have driven off after waiting for some time without seeing their target.

It was further gathered that the judge had not returned home and she may be relocating to Abuja as a result of the incident.
