1 Cor. 15:58 "Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you..."
Good day to you my friend. I know the wait is long, but are you thinking of giving up? I say to you today, "stand firm and continue to wait upon the Lord." Don't be moved by what you hear.
It is tough to understand why we go through the difficult times we go through. The best way to look at it is to know that God is our very present help in times of trouble.
He is helping us become strong for the moments He has created for us to experience. He knows what is ahead and He knows what it will take to make it through it. We need to allow God to take us through some of these tough times.
Today I want to encourage you to take hold of the anchor that is immovable. It will weather the worst storm. Truly, this anchor of hope we have in Jesus Christ is firm and secure! Rest in this blessed assurance today.
Perhaps you're in that wind-tossed storm right now. God and His Word provide the steady anchor and sure foundation. Today let us focus on the immutable God, whose Word has promised: "You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal" (Isaiah 26:3,4).
What happens when the pressure of life becomes more than one can bear? There are times when life just doesn't make any sense. These are the times that even the most steadfast Christian feels the heat and becomes doubtful. The feeling to move this way or that overtakes our desire to remain strong and steadfast in the Lord as we look to alleviate the pressures of life.
My sister, my brother, will you wait upon the Lord to bring about a breakthrough? You cannot do this by yourself.
It is in the midst of such pressures, we feel the need to move even when God is still. Rather than choosing to be strong and immovable, the stresses of life pull us from our foundation of faith casting our souls into doubt.
Why are you doubting that God can give you the victory? Determine in your heart to walk by faith and not by what you see or hear. Stop for a moment. Look and listen for God rather than being subject to the situations and circumstances.
What do you do when you have no idea what to do next? Stand strong, serve God and wait until your hope is fulfilled. Sounds like a tall order for the weak and broken, yet in our desperation God is able to do wonders when we are obedient. We have exceeded our personal power and now must fully rely on His Strength.
James 1:2-4 " "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
I declare today that I am standing with you, interceding and praying to the Father for you daily.
